However, it broken down the FXO gauges, and I had to delete all gauges (execept the custom ones I had) and launch LFSLazy again to fix them/update them.
And by the way, what it this weird background on the LX gauges ? Looks like JPG compression with multiple color edits made on paint. Can you send me the .psd so I fix it by myself ?

It's a nice idea, I like it! 
People say that LFS has one of the most intuitive UI evar, but I don't think so.
I really hope LFS gets a UI overhaul one day, with full controller support and a design that fits more with this century.

No car in race screen, in single player

Small unexpected behavior to report, when you press SHIFT+P+O at the same time, option menu displays and you are pited, which means that when you exit the option menu, your are on the "no car in race" screen, in single player.

I agree on that, LFS is really not user friendly, if you want more people to come on this game, this should really be a priority.
Send me some websites where you can get a 980M at the same price of an desktop 980 or less (the 980 is an example, and I know that the 980M is as powerful as an desktop 960 or 970), and where I can get from low to high end graphics card, on both manufacturer, and on the latest generation.
I had a laptop with MXM slot (2 years ago only) and I searched for theses cards so assuming that I don't have knowledge of it is a absurd.
MXM cars are expensive and very rare, there is no real upgrability because laptops with MXM slots are in general already equipped with high-end GPUs.

I know, I played with my HD3000 for a while, but desktop are modular for your needs, and it can be upgraded. I prefer buying a 500$ desktop than a 900$ laptop, for sure.
It's a laptop, the processor is an U model, for ultrabooks and thin laptops, he just can't upgrade it. That's why desktop PCs are the best.
It's maybe a problem with Optimus, the game is trying to run with the IGP instead of the discrete graphics. What GPU you have ?
Okay, thanks for the info. I don't know well my stuff about old AMD cards, but my guess is that it don't like newer Windows or it's really too old for this (and don't forget that LFS was updated to DX9 and requires Shader Model 3.0 now). The GTX 550Ti should be more than fine though, LFS can run on a modern IGP after all !
It already on the roadmap, but only after S3, else the devs will never their money to live. I actually think that custom cars/tracks should be enabled only on S3, or at least for the multiplayer part.
FTFY. I don't get the point of staying with an old version of a program when the newer deliver more features and some performance improvements.
OP, can you give us some actual infos, like if you used an old hard drive with Windows installed, or if you installed all your drivers, if you tried scanning your PC with Windows Defender and Malware-bytes to see if you have malwares, etc.

I agree on this, it's actually impossible to find a race server without connecting to 30 servers before or going on server we already know (cargame.S2 for exemple).
Hey bro ! Can you do a simple pack with all setups ? It's not like every setup weights 100 Mo.
It would need a big recode of LFS (if you are meaning OpenGL for cross-platform compatibility) : input, graphics and sound engines should be ported to OpenGL and other cross-platforms libraries, and somes optimizations will not work anymore.
Better stick with DirectX for now, it's easier to upgrade from one version to another, but right now, it's REALLY not needed, just look how great Trackmania² is, and it a DirectX 9 game, so we have a big margin.

Is your graphics card compatible with DirectX 9 and Shader Model 2.0 ?
I already reported it in test patch before 0.6H, but it's not fixed apparently, hope Scawen will work on it for in the futures test patchs.

Yes, every object will have a shadows, and they will be much more detailed (depending on shadow map resolution).
