Yep, this patch has better quality and better performances, and I never had a FPS drop now, so I suspect my laptop to switch to Eco Mode automaticaly and make m'y FPS drops.
Anyways, good job Scawen, hope that this performance improvement can be used for very good stuff like Westhill and soft shadows.
EDIT : My only complain so far is that sometimes on closed config, shadows are not applied to the car when I'm under a tunnel (for exemple Fern Bay Black REV).
Time to upgrade, XP is a complete obsolete OS for non-ultra-specific use.
Windows 8.1 is better on every aspects, and I'm not even talking about W10 (but it's still a Technical Preview, not for daily use).
I just spend 1 hour trying to reproduce it, but I didn't succeded.
But I had a suggestion poping out of my head, why not adding a configuration to Fern Bay using the turn at north of Green part of Fern Bay on the incompatible patch (not a high priority) ?
Also if Eric can do a quick fix for Fern Bay cross point (where there is no wall), that would be perfect.
The new detection system is not here to correct this bug but improve accuracy of detection on autocross objects if I understand it correctly. But I also think that this but is an important one that need to be corrected (even if it's not everyday that people crash a wall at 220+ km/h while racing).
@Scawen : On Fern Bay X, sometimes I got massive FPS drop (from 90 to 15), and I need to restart the game to get normal framerate again. I think that the path system is disoriented on the cross of green, gold, rallycross and black configuration (do you know where I'm talking ?).
No, don't stop him, just open a new windows with UF1, FXO and RB4 models while he is sleeping (if he's not, that's harder), so he could use this magical motivation he grown to improve the rest of the models.
Seems nice, but too much JPEG compression, and if you want to create good skins, you can use a base template (you can get them on the forum) and CMX Viewer for "live" skin view.
I think there is still room for improvement for UF1 gauges, like trying to add a background texture to create a Dashboard instead of plain black background.
So bad that I don't have time to work on new gauges...

- Gigabyte AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB GDDR5
- Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD (main, for OS and main softwares)

I don't know how it's going, but if Eric has finished fixing bugs in Westhill, if he could work on other track or car interior (or at least car rims) while Scawen finish his improvements, that could be perfect.
As always, when Dave answers to a insulting/provocating message, he is in trouble. What the f*ck guys ? For me, it's clearly Racer Y the trouble maker and misogynist.
Just tried to go on the LFS World map activity with Internet Explorer 11, but this time, it said that my browser dosen't have the features to use this page, even if it always worked perfectly before (see screenshot).
Actually, this VAT-I-dont-really-know-or-care-about-this problem is getting me tired.
I hoped for a new Westhill and new shadows system, with a new path system (3 of the currenly most obvious issues with LFS), and it's always reported.
