The really feature that LFS should have is the possibility to create and add cars with given softwares/plugins, and be playable in multiplayer (just like AC).
Windows Firewall message, so people can allow LFS to access Internet.
A feature that I wanted to see is borderless window fullscreen, so I can ALT-TAB quicly and keep seeing the game while doing other things on my second screen. Is that possible to add this in you to-do list (after Westhill patches, and before final version) ?
Moderators of the forum or selected members of the community (active and trusted ones of course), I don't think this will be difficult to choose for the devs.
If this for real, the least we can do is being thankful for what he (Dave) did.
Like him or not, and although most of us would never meet him in flesh you can't deny his devotion for it.
If you think him or Scavier deserve to be blamed there, sorry to be crude but you have to be mad.
Thanks & sorry, but someone has to stop this sh*t.
I just totally approve, cargame.S2 was the only server I knew I'll find people ready to race on it, which had a lot more skill than me and make me discover the real pleasure in LFS (and not only drift and demo servers).
@ Scawen : random framerate drop is still here, and it seems to be only on closed config, but when I save the spr/mpr, the framerate it not affected. I just can't determinate exactly the problem, but there is one. Maybe bad cleaning ?
Dave, all you're saying is what I'm requesting since june.
I hope that real time lighting and soft shadows are on Scawen's list (that weird that LFS don't have this by the time, it's one of the first thing I learned in DX9, and it's easy and fast to implement).
Good find. Actually that is a different thing from the one racer autov8 found. I am now re-rendering the lightmaps without the temporary barriers visible during the render.
Thanks, I remember you mentioning them in the past. Yes, LFS seems more solid and less flaky now.
In G3 the shadows under the bridges will be corrected at Fern Bay and Aston (in open and closed configs).
