A couple of things.
I guess this is because it was the first time logging in, and won't count a 1 minute idle as a new visit.
I went to the forum index, and then used the login at the top. I'd like to be redirected back to the page I logged in from, instead of having to click the forum/back.
Edit: one other thing I'd really, really like is to have the "view new posts" link be visible on all pages instead of just the index. Even if it's a drop-down menu while hovering over the Forum text next to User Profiles.
Edit 2: I clicked "Mark forums read", and a few minutes later clicked the "New posts" link. Please make it so that threads with no unread posts do not show in the New posts page.

Yes, Free/GlovePIE have the capability to be used for cheating (e.g. ABS and TC for cars that don't have it, or when they aren't allowed to be used). Shouldn't use such things in serious online racing though, on ethical principles.
Fact is some drivers manage to not do that, and some don't.

Longford 67 didn't strike me as a high quality track. The road surface on one of the straights (after the right hander in the village) is/was iffy, and it looks dated. Having said that, everything looks dated with all settings at the bare minimum

Gentrack1 is ace, though.
Also the Gp200 track layout is interesting, shame that it lacks optimisation (LoD probably, not sure). Should be good on any computer that wasn't dated 3 years ago..

You could try logging out if you can or deleting the forum cookies if you can't, and then try to login using the Steam method.
Too complicated to look in the skins folder and figure it out.

.Flat screens and CRTs can do 120-144Hz and 120-144 FPS is easily achieved in LFS. The limit should be at least that.
The Corvette DP can do sub 1:00 laps @ Blackwood.. xD
640 GT is not "pretty good" to be honest. It wasn't it even at launch (a couple of years ago?). You should be able to get plenty of FPS in LFS though, since LFS isn't that demanding. What resolution are you using, how much AA and AF are you using, do you using any mods like ENB Series or SweetFX? And the obligatory integrated graphics note: if you have integrated Intel graphics, make sure that the LFS.exe profile in the nVidia control panel correctly switches to the faster card.

Does Mugello even have the facilities :-S There are literally zero overtaking places beyond the s/f straight, what an awful choice it would be.
Doesn't work as well as LFS, steering sensitivity is a nightmare to deal with.

I don't have a wheel so I can't help directly. Best bet is to look for some G25 settings on the official forum, e.g. http://www.assettocorsa.net/fo ... els-official-thread.3295/. You could pop into #liveforspeed and ask troy, da_hoe etc.
Far fewer setup options for that Lotus, it's mostly down to technique. Lifting, feathering the throttle and brake. Steer it without accelerating ^^.
There is a one-line chat app in the app menu (move mouse cursor to the right edge of the screen while on track), and one in my sig (http://www.assettocorsa.net/fo ... pp-for-multiplayer.10684/)
The best lap was a low 55 with 100% boost, but that's an alien time. Somewhere in the 57 or 58s depending on how much boost you're using, I guess.
You need to wait until the server is back in booking mode, and then book a slot, and then join once the booking countdown ends.

My LFS folder (d:\programs\lfs) is not in a protected folder, I still had to run LFS as admin for the update to work.
