Yeah, so it would seem. I was comparing the cost vs. content of the Finnish coverage of the F1 and the intl. V8s.

90€ / $109.30 AU / £74.20 / $124.40 US

All practices live and VoD with commentary
All qualifications live and VoD with commentary

Now, considering that I don't want to watch or pay for practices, and that the commentary is awful, I'm glad I haven't convinced myself that the F1 deal is worth it. Insane pricing.

No idea what's going on. It's past 10am there, and yet there's no info. PC streaming doesn't seem to be available for Aussies either at the moment, bizarrely.

It certainly makes sense, I was surprised that it was international at all. However, do you have a source that says it will not be so this year? The Superview page says
Quote :Details on the 2014 season will be announced approximately 10am Saturday the 1st March.

Which is in about 8 hours or something.

If you still have the tech demo.. Double check from the nVidia control panel, that ACS.exe is definitely using the GT 120. If it is, then turn all graphics down, use a single screen and a bearable resolution. See if you get any FPS. You may not, though, that thing is worse than the one in my laptop, which was old years ago. Ultimately, there may be slight optimisations in the current early access version, but not ones significant enough to make your FPS double.

It sounds as if you aren't receiving position packets from other cars. This is likely caused by either a router or a software firewall blocking the UDP traffic. You need to find a way to allow LFS' UDP traffic to pass to and from you. You can try clicking the UDP/TCP button in the in-game connection list, but I doubt that will do anything.

If you need to open specific ports for LFS, they are usually 63392 and 29339 (both TCP and UDP).

Try removing LFS and re-installing.

Ermahgerd. 1st reply!!11 BTCC driver lineup is looking really great. Just waiting for V8SC to open up purchases of the 2014 season web stream service (Superview). I bought the endurance pass in 2013, and it worked nicely.

I guess legally software engineering isn't at the level of other engineering accreditations in every nation, but some (most?) have some sort of a charter system that can be used to prove one is an Actual Software Engineer. "In the U.K. the British Computer Society has developed a legally recognized professional certification called Chartered IT Professional (CITP), available to fully qualified Members (MBCS). Software engineers may be eligible for membership of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and so qualify for Chartered Engineer status". Does the German BVT apply for software engineering too?

Also, Texas is a special case where there are (more) stringent regulations to pass as a software engineer. 'Some of the states in the United States regulate the use of terms such as "computer engineer" and even "software engineer". These states include Texas' and "The United States, starting from 2013 offer an NCEES Professional Engineer exam for Software Engineering, thereby allowing Software Engineers to be licensed and recognized.[23] Mandatory licensing is currently still largely debated, and perceived as controversial. In some parts of the US such as Texas, the use of the term Engineer is regulated by law and reserved only for use by individuals who have a Professional Engineer license."

Could be worse, at least it's not subscription based DLC. A small amount of euros for 10 cars and a detailed, infamous track for far, far less than some rare GT6 collectibles. Might end up being the first DLC I buy, ever.

Likely a replay issue, like the clutch bar which doesn't seem to be working either despite using it on every shift. Both work when driving "live".

Afaik the force feedback bar shows AC's FFB "signal strength", but doesn't include FFB strength from drivers. I don't have an FFB device so I can't know for sure (but changing the FFB strength in game affects the FFB bar even for me), but it could be clipping even if it doesn't show it on the graphic. I would take the FFB strength to zero in the drivers, and then slowly keeping increasing it to see where it starts to clip.

Doesn't the pedals app show the force feedback level? Keep lowering the overall force until it no longer peaks (if it currently does) unless you hit sausage kerbs.
