Added a few videos, for those that didn't try the layouts yet, and are too lazy to do so.

NB: Sorry for the crappy quality, but these are not edited videos, just for illustration purposes, so file size had to be kept down.

^ Very nice. Although, it seems a bit odd, the car looks like standing despite the motion blur on the weels.

But somehow that background, and the composition fits together really nicely!!! Me likes!!!

Was a quick job, because I almost forgot about the competition and deadline there.

That's as good as it gets on a ~2 year old 64mb laptop ati.

Looked ok on external CRT monitor, buy I just looked at it on my laptop screen, and it sucks indeed, need to go over the roof with the blur tool to get rid of that.

Come on guys, give me some feedback, did you like the layouts? Were they too complicated? Were they complete crap? Just post a few words here with your opinion, will be appreciated.

We added a layout section to our site, where you can find all kind of tracks, ranging from simple AutoX layouts to stuff for drifting.

This is the index page of the layouts, when you click on them you'll see a very detailed text description as well as some screenshots. When you hit the download button, you'll download a rar including the replay and the layout file, as well as a readme, just in case you are offline, and forgot which way to go.

Note by: the layout section was done a bit in a hurry, so when you click the download button, the page will refresh giving you the exact same stuff, only instead of a download button you'll see a text link that you can click or right click save as. This has to do with a download counter, and our coding guy, FireFox, didn't have enough time to do it properly yet, so sorry for the inconvenience. It will be fixed in the near future.

At the moment you'll find only 4 layouts there, we didn't want to overkill things, so 4 layouts should do for the begining, so that you have time to check them all out, as some of them are a bit complicated.

We'll keep adding new layouts as I have a bunch of them (not only for autocross and bw car park), on a weekly basis or so, so check the site or this thread for updates.

I hope you'll enjoy the layouts, as I think they are a bit unusuall, and are more interesting than most of the simple/basic layouts posted here.

Comments, critiques and feedback are appreciated. Let me know what you guys think about the layouts.

I fixed the less blurred area around the wheels more or less on the fz picture.

Vain - Discs don't only glow while braking, when they get really hot, it usually lasts a moment or 2 till they stop glowing. I didn't experiment with adding dirt to cars yet, will try that in the future, good point though.

The FZ one is ok I guess, but I'm not really satisfied by the result, it's getting sort of "cliche".
The LX one, though nothing special, I think turned out better than the FZ one.

As for the poster, I have to be honest, that "hell breaks loose" phrase, wasn't the product of my imagination. I was looking for some inspiration across some flyers, and saw it on some drag race flyer. I really liked it, so I decided to use it.

The rain is very massive, as with most rain picture posted here though.
It looks ok, I mean after all it's an LFS edit, doesn't have to represent reallity by all means, but I think that if you aim at making a more realistic rain picture, the rain should be a lot less.

Although, I think that you should take down the opacity of the rain at the sky part, I don't think you would see any rain if you would look directly towards the sky.

Also, you need a clean logo.
The one on the top, giving the link, needs to be selected more carefully, because you can still see a lot of white/gray around the letters. Or just retype it again instead of copy pasting it, that would be much easier and cleaner I think.

Ahh, so by Balkan you mean Serbian? I can read my way throught that mroe or less, but I'm afraid I won't understand all the stuff there. Should've mentioned that I'm from Bulgaria.

Btw, Balkan LFS League? How comes I've missed that, any link or info that you can provide? I'd be interested. (FYI, I'm not Dutch, contrary to what my flag shows, I'm just living in the NL)

I think its ok that way, because normally if you look up directly into the sky you can't see rain, or you hardly see it.

Both quick work, result is not breath taking, but ok-ish. I messed up the basic picture for the poster, should've thought a bit in advance when I took out the yellow from it, making it rather dark & dull for a poster, but oh well... didn't feel like redoing it again.

This would be good if you had a nice graphics card (or maybe you have, but didn't set AA/AF to best quality). There are a lot of jaggies on the picture, and you should be more careful when selecting the car, you can see some white bits and pieces on the outer lines of the car. Either be very prices, or go over those places with the blur tool carefully.
