erm, not really, new diffuser and a cold air scoop onto the supercharger but thats all really.

had my shocks upgraded to the latest valving system so looking forward to trying that out on track on friday.

I recon i would of been in for a good result in class, i think i set a decent lap time aswell with a 1'36.6.

Problem is with the car is that every corner doesnt feel like your in any sort of control what so ever, each corner is just full of hope lol.

Going to do a 1hour race at oulton park with 100% fog, cars to pick from are the skippy, star mazda, L49 and L79..

Ive chosen the L49, i can see this ending in disaster! Lol

seems like there should be more grip tbh, really does feel like im driving on rock hard gone off tyres, although the longer i stay out the better they feel.. still shite tho.

Im not defending it totally as i would prefer no sub for sure but its hardly a lot of money. Plus you get all your seasons layed out for you etc and good cars, great tracks, sounds are getting really good (vette, lotus 79 eg) sure the physics are not as acurate as they can be but they are by no means undrivable.

The mclaren is probably the best car ive driven in iracing and thats the one i stick to but stilleven with questionable physics sometimes they only really show their head when you crash.

Ive had better racing experiences on iracing than i have since the stcc on lfs, sure you dont get to restart a race every 5 mins but by the time you finish a 45min race there is another just after.

Really cant see what the big fuss is.. And dustin, you know me.. Im not an iracing fanboy, but atm i just enjoy turning up to an iracing race having a good 45 min blast and then going through the replays, stats etc and by the time ive dont that there is another race ready to go.

Give the mclaren a try.

I gotta admit i do prefer 75 opposed to 85 but 65 was just a little too zoomed in, i felt 75 just right.

i put it on 75 and i sit about 18" away from the screen.

naa, not really because ive done a couple seasons now, same car same tracks same setups and its just a case of getting my eye in again.

that said i havent done the first 3 events and just started putting a little time into brands hatch for this week but i dont think im good enough to race yet and it ends tonight so probably wont do this week but might do watkins glen next week as i had some fun there last season.

my thinking, be it right or wrong was to get the hottest stuff outside the case and let the case sort out the other components. having the rad externally means none of the heat generated goes anywhere near the other components so it really keeps it very cool inside there. plus, i can open the window as well which is just like having the PC outside.

i tested prime95 and got good results (ran for a couple hours)

External cooler so it a.)Doesnt heat inside and thus other components up & b.)can disperse heat faster from the rad



Looks a bit redneck atm but im ordering a h100 which ill mount better and more permenant on the back.

The reason i play iracing is because of the intergeated seasons. It gives me a reason to race unlike lfs which is more about pickup races (obviously if i joined a league that would be different) i also like the laser scanned tracks and cars.

Yea the physics are a bit meh, but everyone is in the same boat so its the same for everyone so it does make for a good challenge.

Maybe i should get myself entered for a league, but i just dont think i could commit the time like i used to so ill probably be slow lol.
