Best Modder/Programmer : Kegetys
Best Hard for LFS : Frex have made some impressive stuff.

this is the look i was looking for, but i know you wont get that level of dirt without racing for 24hours.

looking around at them more clearly there is dirt were it shouldnt be and no dirt were it should lol..

im gunna start from scratch i think and redo them both.

I did a 50 lap race the other day and really wish we would have dirt, brake dust etc on the cars, so i spent a couple of hours and i came out with these 2.

the dark 'mess' is not dirt, its brake dust, maybe its abit ' too much' for a shorter race, lookin at some of the Lemans pics maybe the car would never get quite as dirty.

but anyway, i cant be bothered changing them right now.

i try to be as consistant as i can, taking the same lines.

when it comes to overtaking ppl i tend to just wait till its dead easy to pass.. i never really attack racers. i do try keep it clean but sometimes mistakes happen.

erm, jack and pickard both qualified SLOWER than me and they was very high up the grid...

you know yourself when you get a good driver in each of the cars, this dominent rubbish is thrown out of the window because one mistake could cost you a place. (granted the rb4 was slow onthe straight)

when i am in heat 2a behind all the rb4's and xrt's because i was fast enough to get in there in the first place i get peanalised for getting a slowish lap.. not alot i can do when im in the middle of rb4's and xrt's.. but because jack and pickard got thrown into heat 2b they were with the slower drivers (no offence guys )so they had an 1 lap of overtaking and then the rest of the laps to hotlap a nice laptime.

so once finished and have a faster laptime than me they are placed infront of me who was faster in the initial qual (hence why i was fast enough to get in heat2a in the first place).. i dont think thats very fair.. thats why becky has introduced that the person that wins heat 2b would end up being placed BEHIND the last person from heat 2a regardless of laptimes.

It might sound like im bitching alot but a couple well actually alot of the drivers saw the issue at hand but they tend to keep there opinions to themselves unlike me who is blunt in nature and likes to keep things fair a possible.

I know i shouldnt of blown my cool, but its quite easy for ppl who are not in the stcc to say that, there is alot of tension and nerves going on b4 a race, and alot of things are going through your mind and with the added stress of the qual system.

i do appologising for acting the way i did, and i will try keep my cool in future, but lets face it.. its not gunna be very exciting without all this excitement for you to watch.

i have a solution to this problem...

get a 42" Plasme HDTV and link up the laptop..

i watched round1 and from about 3 meteres away it looks perfectly fine lol

gunna get round 5 copied onto laptop and watch it... again :P

here is my XRT engine sound.

I have just had a quick mess with some of the cars and im not sayin they sound 100% realistic but just better in general.. i know there is sound clipping on some of the cars.

u need to extract these files to /data/engine

then load each one for the car one your ingame
