i just thought it would be nice setting the car you like to drive just how you want it then going to the next one and doing the same for that, and then if you wanna change over you have it sorted straight away. all ingame

make each car have an independant steering lock and FFB, because i can drive the FXO with my Steering Lock perfect and nice FFB, but then change to the MRT5 and i have to lower them both.

this just saves making a mental note in your head to what they were before you change them

i have no idea where to put this, but i think the clutch wears out WAY too fast.. on the race cars i think its probably just right.. but the road cars wouldnt wear that much..

unless im just not doing something right.

yea i have all latest drivers, but i cant find the option in the menu to use the wheel.

hi guys, just got dirt installed but im having a real hard time trying to make my wheel work, when i go to controller options it doesnt let me select the wheel, it has keyboard, customise, ff controls (which you cant get on) and steering helps
when you go to customize and try give a wheel input it doesnt work.

there is a bit where you select 'wheel' but i cant find it for the life of me.

go buy GPL and read its manual 'Car Guide' its based on GPL but gives alot of information that you can apply everywhere.

ill attach a screenie of the settings. maybe someone can see whats up.

i downloaded the 163.75 drivers for 64bit and they have worked fine.

ok LFS works fine in vista64 on this machine, with a 8800GTS 20mb Nvidia card it pulls 200fps on MAX graphics and 16QxAA and 16xAS

no 1 problem, even tho it says 16QxAA it doesnt look any different on the game than it does on 0xAA..

I have the 7.15.11.6375 drivers (stright from Device manager) or 163.71 forceware if you get it from nvidia.

now it does say winxp32bit when you hover your mouse over the driver install. so i will try find some new ones.

but does anyone know of anything else that might cause this?

its a shame you dont live in the UK, i have a 6800GT for sale dont want much as im upgrading.

ive just been messing around on LFS with bespoke.

now as far as i understand you can only change 3 of the cars wheels.

how difficult would it be to implament Bespoke to lfs?

im just thinking at the moment like the tyres we have 5 or 6. wouldnt it be good if we have 10 alloys to choose from??

im sure this has been discussed before i just wondered if anyone had any idea of whether or not its doable.

well you must remember that the lotus gearbox is a different gearbox compared to the vauxhall one.

i dont know alot about the gearbox's of the lotus, so i wont pretend to but i will be reading up, but if you moved from the gearboxes to the engines..

the rover was a CRAP engine..the 2.2 GM lump was far more stable and reliable.. does that mean that they spent more time and effort on the engines for vaux.. ?? i doubt it.. it was just a choice, you would probably find that if the cars ran the same engine and gearbox they would of both been identical in terms of how tight its going to have to be.

im just talking from experience.. i have been in a lotus.. newer than mine and the quality of the car was not how you would expect a 2005 car to be.. bits poorly attached, bits falling off etc.

yea but on a drag strip 11 seconds and 13 seconds is quite a big difference.

my old punto gt could do it in about 14.3 seconds.. not bad for a 170bhp FWD turbo. :lol:
