All what? What does that mean to a new person contemplating buying LFS?
I would bet that many people don't know there's even a link to LFS World on the main site. Its such a good sim it seems such a shame not to breath some life into the place where the majority of people have there first contact with LFS.
Forget about updates via the forum, just update the web page from time to time even if its only meaningless stuff. Let people that don't frequent this forum know there's actually something going on.
If i were new to LFS or looking at buying it you would have to think whether or not you were buying something dead in the water when the information on the official website is dated Mon, Dec 15th, 2008 17:30.
Or if you do make your way to the forum there's 15000 posts all on the same subject asking the exact same questions .
Surely three or four lines of non specific information every month isn't a lot to ask,even if its done purely for showing that LFS is still well and truly active.

I sell software for a living and i totally agree with you that you should be able to sell it , that's not how reality works unfortunately and as Bob said your license was for you and you alone.
Still LFS isnt as bad as say Microsoft , if we build a person a new PC we are by law not allowed to transfer that license to the customers new PC even though they have a retail copy of Windows and the old pc is decomissioned by us. Thats not do say it doesnt happen..

Whats mad it worse in my book is he came out with what seemed a heart felt apology with out really telling the truth or showing remorse what whats been done.

I don't buy this team made me do it shit, the radio chatter implicates him and yet he goes on lying about it.
I still regard LH as a great driver but a lousy person , he could have stopped all of this rubbish by growing a backbone by telling Charlie Whiting/ stewards exactly what happened.
The man and team are more than capable of winning and scoring points with out resorting to this level.
