Yes, please do give examples showing the link between violence and Cannabis, the drug that makes you more relaxed, friendly and less physical. That would be grand
So what if Alcohol was illegal and Cannabis legal, since it could be either way round. Would that then mean that you could no longer use alcohol without messing up your life?
Take the UK, this year about 8,000 people died from alcohol (not verified, but similar figures for the past few years), but that's fine because its legal. Many people use Cannabis even though its illegal, but only about 10 deaths are linked to cannabis.
But apparently Cannabis cannot be smoked responsibly?
Graffiti is always irresponsible? In places with no laws is everyone irresponsible? Oh I see, we need the government to tell us what we can and can't do, because we are all like sheep...
Nice black and white ideas there, maybe you need to open your mind as well...
Say what you like about AVG, I have never had a virus with it and it has never thrown up a false alarm for legal software. Doesn't hog my resourses like some either. Then again avoiding viruses is more important than deleting them after they have infected.
Of course no anti-virus software can totally protect you, even with specialized tools targeting one type of virus, it can still not be enough. Its foolish to think you can just download random stuff and your AV will protect you.
IMO 70% Common sence + prevention, 30% anti-virus software.
I think abuse is the key word here. You can take drugs responsibly and they will not "destroy" your life. It just depends if you have that responsibility, because if you don't, then it probably will mess up your life.
Do you have something like AVG free edition which detects viruses contained in files on the fly? There have been a few things I have downloaded that AVG has detected as a virus straight away, and AVG can remove the virus without it effecting my system.
Saying that I have never come across a virus called "horse_****ing_girl.avi"
FRANK has been criticised by many for a lack of information about drugs in terms of safety in use or preparation, but instead merely presenting reasons for those already not taking drugs to continue not taking them. FRANK has also been accused of telling scare stories, rather than presenting a balanced view of narcotics and their effects.
FRANK has also been accused of presenting misleading, and in some cases entirely false, information about drugs. One example occurred in 2007 when the site had to remove an article entitled "Cannabis Explained" after several groups pointed out glaring errors in the information presented
As of May 2008, FRANK continues to claim on its site that there's a link between cannabis and schizophrenic psychosis when scientific analysis has already refuted such claims. FRANK often mirrors government policy and understanding in terms of drug abuse, rather than recreational drug use.
Yeah FRANK is great, and the government never lies!
Pretty much, the link is probably more likely to be that lots of people smoke weed, and some of those people are the type that would get schizophrenic regardless. Symptoms start late teens/early 20's most the time, which is the age of most heavy pot users.
If anyone's worried use a high end vaporizer and don't smoke too often, I'm sure you'll be fine. Much better off than getting drunk every weekend anyway.
From wiki:
In 2007, a study by University of California, San Francisco published in the Official Journal of the American Academy of Neurology[15] examined the effectiveness of a vaporizer that heats cannabis to a temperature between 180°C (356°F) and 200°C (392°F) degrees and found:
"Using CO as an indicator, there was virtually no exposure to harmful combustion products using the vaporizing device. Since it replicates smoking's efficiency at producing the desired THC effect using smaller amounts of the active ingredient as opposed to pill forms, this device has great potential for improving the therapeutic utility of THC.
In 2006, a study performed by researchers at Leiden University, tested a Volcano Vaporizer with preparations of pure THC and found that:[11]
"Our results show that a safe and effective cannabinoid delivery system seems to be available to patients. The final pulmonal uptake of THC is comparable to the smoking of cannabis, while avoiding the respiratory disadvantages of smoking."
So not only is this much safer, but it has medical uses!
I was just thinking this, I can't see the correlation at all. People smoke to relax, get to sleep easier, lower blood pressure etc. If I was to smoke it wouldn't be for childish reasons at all. Though I don't see how pot is good for you, unless you have a vapouriser smoking pot is still damaging your lungs. But yeah pot is so much safer than alcohol in many ways.
I have no problem with people that smoke occasionally, I hardly ever myself though.
Just to chip in, technical details aside, on my 19" monitor it looks as good as I could hope from a video streaming website. It loads fast enough, and I would be happy to watch a movie that quality. If I want high quality I'll buy a DVD or Blueray, but that YouTube link I posted is such an improvement over old videos I don't see how I could complain
Haha yeah flash can really mess things up if you want to make a nice web-compliant website. What do you need to make a good website? Some knowledge and notepad would do, remember simple design and colours often looks better than complex stuff. I use dreamweaver and photoshop, maybe you can get cheap/free alternatives of these to start out with?
Flash is really hard to make a professional looking site out of. Just imagine a horrible flash game but bigger! :P
I think its going to be a long time before a rally game beats RBR Codemasters obviously aren't up to the job, and who else makes rally games these days?
I don't know if I could even try this, the memories of Grid are too painful
So why are there not any black British BNP members then? Oh wait they are apparently "destroying" our British history according to the BNP. That makes sense
Using a hybrid method of using my right knee and left foot, I managed 100.5m. The hurdle caused a bit of a problem where I dragged it along for a bit, possibly causing an injury to my lower regions, but it went smoothly overall
