Anyone found a version of Firefox that works on Windows 7? I installed it, worked fine, then I rebooted after installing a driver and it no longer works lol.
What, I thought I would try putting it differently lol.
Going with Adrian Flux might mean I may be able to get a 1.4 106 Quicksilver. They are suppose to be good handling cars, and by looking at the specs, they seem to be pretty quick for what they are.
S14, I don't mind you going off topic as your just proving AJP wrong lol.
AJP, stfu lol. You eventally don't know no where near as much about bikes then what S14 does. So shut up and stop making the thread go off topic.
On the insurance front of things. I have been looking on Adrian Flux and they will give anyone a minimum of 20% discount if they have done their pass plus. So I will be deffently doing that. But to the point, they also say if you have done your advance driving course you can get 35% discount. What I want to know, how old do you have to be to do an advance driving course? I will do it, if it saves me money on my insurance lol.
I can't get my parent (Dad) to insure the car for me, his insurance wont let me on his policy as he has a traders policy.
Just looking on Andrian Flux at insurance. They do loads of discount if your part of certain clubs or have done Pass Plus etc.
Linky to where they give examples of quote for 17 yr olds. http://www.adrianflux.co.uk/news.php?fct=news&id=61
The old Beetle is the cheapest to insure even though it's a 1.6 but they are bloody expensive to buy lol.
True, a bit pointless tuning a small engine. Think i'll buy a goodish condition mini leave it standard for 2 years, sell it and get a bemmer, pitty a e36 evo m3 wont be cheap to insure at 20 - they are the same price as a good condition e30 325i lol
I am going to get a nicer car at 19/20, hopefully a BMW E30 325 with the M-Tech 2 bodykit in Aplina White - Lovely car If not one of those, I'll get the E36 version.
I don't want to tune the bollocks off of it. Tune it over say the 3 yrs I'll have the car yes. Only mods I will most likely do if I get a 1.2 Corsa is have the ECU remapped and chipped, different exhaust system including manifold and a better suspension kit and leave it at that.
a 1.4 Fiesta will do about a 110mph, thing is though is may not be fast in a straight line, it will piss all over a American car in the corners as their cars can't do corners well lol.
It's stupid in America as if I remember correctly, it's your choice whether you have insurance or not.
One good example with how bad it is in America, the kid who got a M5 for his first car, took it to a runway and killed himself and 4 others I think it was.
I hate that fact that we have to start off in crappy cars but it helps us to learn car control and not step into something that has a lot of power and kill ourselves.
Guys:
Stripped out Corsa B or stripped out Nova or stripped out 205?
I am thinking of any of the cars I get, getting a full exhaust system fitted, including Manifold. What is a derestricted Manifold?
I wouldn't mind a stripped out Corsa B. Pointless even doing subtle mods to the exterior on your first car. Your a most likely to at least bump it into something, you make your first mistakes in the car.
A Corsa 1.4 16V on the insurance I think will nearly be £1,800 a year.
I don't seem to be into heavy modifying no more, yeah I may do it one day but thats part of growing up and doing stupid things lol.
What car would you suggest that would be cheap to insure? I have heard Nova's can be a good laugh with the right suspension on and a little modifying like the manifold. The only thing is, there pointed towards boy racers so much it puts me off getting one lol.
