Quote from Jakg :Ugly as sin and doesn't even support my MP3 player (needs you to have an AUX in).

You said you wanted cheap lol. I think it is ugly aswell.

Quote from Jakg :My car has a dodgy looking wood-surround - I wish I could find an OEM stereo with aux in but alas I just can't find one I just don't want something with blue flashing LED lights.

I've bought all the tools to take out the stereo in one last hope that it has the connector in the back, but I doubt it will

I dont like stereo's what have loads of flashing lights/LED's. Makes them look stupid. Here, nothing special but would do, also supports Ipods http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=226355

Mclaren must have had the car set up to run just for 4th/5th position because Hamilton would of most likely of finished on the podium. Also, do any of you reckon they turned his engine down a little to make mechanical failures less likely?

Quote from Jakg :I have actually already been making a Christmas list (i'm that sad) so here goes:

Headunit,
Cheap 'n Cheerful here. Looking at a £35 ex-demo unit atm. All it needs is MP3 in and not look like something that Sam93 would like (no offence!

I am not taking offence but, I wouldn't go for a chavvy stereo. My likely a headunit with specs like this: 7" touch screen motorised monitor, DVD, built in sat-nav and a few other features. But let's not get into this. Jakg if you want a cheap headunit head down to Maplins if you have one near by.

I can't wait for xmas so I can get my Ipod Touch, my Nano is annoying now. Also looking forward to getting a RS, I have said to the old man that he has to rap it lol.

Quote from lerts :man i would take your advice but your sig makes me doubt it

its obvious i have mental problems and quitting cold turkey would be like hitting my brain with a hammer

ive smoked for 17 years, and i said depresion when quitting makes me suicidal, in fact seeing your sig and giving me an advice that i sadi makes me suicidal rings the paranoid alarm

man just look how alterated gets a smoking cold turkey quitting person that cant even drive, thats a punch for the brain

So how old are you? You seem to come across as a teenager not someone who is 34.

GF - When will the next meeting be? I was wanting to do it but as the GP ran over 7pm, I needed food so wasn't able to make it.
FIA to explain stewards' decisions.

Sounds promissing. Atleast now we will know why they made a certain decision and able to view footage that hasn't been viewed by the public. Let's hope it happens.

Quote from GFresh :Nah, if it was the UK, he'd have tried to lanch it from his ass, like THIS

(Thats me lighting the rocket, which is lodged in my best mates ass )
(Oh and, don't try it, is was a f00kin' stupid thing to do, alcohol for you...)

Bit obvious that it was a stupid thing to do but as alcohol takes over you just end up doing it anyway. Some people I know put a rocket in their hands and light them, the last time I heard of someone doing it, they burnt all their hand.

Quote from tristancliffe :I take part in a championship. No invitation. Hamilton takes part in a championship. No invitation. Lots of people take part in championships. Without invitation.

(note: I am not comparing myself to Hamilton in any way. For starters I'm not as rubbish under pressure :P)

I meant top level championship thats all. So if you have a lot of money in your pocket and approach a team, they will let you race?

Let's be honest, pressure you get when racing in a club is very low level to what Hamilton gets.

ipod touch, motorbike helmet, money. That is joint between both parents as they are split. Also a RS50 or GPR50 what will be both a christmas and a birthday present.

Quote from harjun :ok, i think i will go for that,
i pay £30 a month for the contract, and my upgrades in december near christmas, and for the phone i have to pay £170, and hopefully i will be able to get it as a christmas present

Good choice. You shouldn't have no problems with it but I do recommend that you get a case for it though so you dont scratch the screen. My dad works on a building site so there is loads of dust and the phone gets covered in it and it works fine, not one problem with it.

Quote from harjun :i'm thinkng maybe the iphone is my best bet if some of you say
Although everyone i ask says omnia is way better than the iphone.
I'm not sure i'll just wait and see if anyone can drop in some feedback

Get the Omina, I think it is better then the Iphone, not as good as it for music though. Nip into a phone shop and have a look at the Omina, it's a very good phone.

Have a look at the Samsung Omina. A bit like the iphone without the basic interface and being good for music. It has a 5mp camera, windows mobile 6.1 and more features. It is a good phone, my dad has had it for a while and hasn't had any technical faults with it, had to get a new battery as the one he got with the phone didn't hold charge well.
The K850i is also a good phone, I get on well with mine. Although they do have their faults, my uncle had to get a new one 3 times because each one kept on turning off. I have had mine for about 8 months now and haven't had a problem with it.

The Omina is a good phone but it's whether you can afford the contract each month, think on Vodafone it is £40 a month, cant remember if that is for a 12 or 18 month contract though.

The debate is still going on. In the end the best driver won the WDC and that is that. I can see it when Hamilton becomes a multiple world champion the debate will still be going on that no one likes him or try to make excusses up for why the other top drivers didn't win the WDC. When will the bickering stop lol.

Quote from tristancliffe :No, you just enter the race, like with any other championship. If you've got the budget, the car (or the drive) and the time then you can enter pretty much anything you like.

I see. I though you got invited/asked to take part in the championship.

Quote from Solidum[NL] :What do you mean with championship stage?
Basically (and that's the darker side of the sport), money gets you anywhere. If that's what you meant?

I mean how do you get to take part in championships? Do you get asked? What stages do you have to go through to take part in a championship.

Next year will be good though! Also Rotax Senior with Team TKP Intrepid.

See you online!

Things are looking good then. What stages did you have to go through to get to championship stage? Do you get asked? Always wondered.

I heard on a TV program about Drag Racing a rotary engine is easier to tune, or better to tune. Cant remember which one for sure, think it was that they are easier to tune.
