Not really, there isn't anything scary about the pictures, they're supposed to be unexpected since the person focuses on a select part of the picture instead of the guy hiding. The second picture is kind of the same thing. You focus on the graveyard to see if any creepy thing is there when you actually want to focus on the top right corner.
^try setting the delay higher until it works?
Anyways, I have a little suggestion. Is there any way to have the mod to rev limiter differently?
I suggest a rev limiter that has a "throttle" cutoff point at a certain RPM. Then when the RPM drops to the safe point, the throttle is reapplied to whatever level your pedal is at. In throttle cutoff I mean the actual pedal going all the way to nothing. It gives a different sound and I think it won't suffer the out of sync problem the ignition method has (unless you set the safe point too low). I tried the ignition method and it didn't sound right but when I saw how the traction control worked on the BF1 and FZ, it sounded much better. I also tried to do my own self rev limiting by setting the button control rate to the max and clicking as fast as I can at the red line and it sounded very good.
I too feel that the cars seem to go faster when their the tyres past their limit. It's most apparent when you try to accelerate from 0. If you try to control your throttle and make the tires "chirp", you get roughly a 5 second 0-60 mph time in a RAC. If you make the tires "scream" and use a lot more throttle with less control, you can get a 0-60 time of 4.2 seconds on a RAC (LFSLapper doesn't lie). I also thought it was weird that WR holders of the Blackwood XRT time slid so much.
If I remember correctly, there was a post that said the tyres have "too much grip at high slip angles and too little grip at low slip angles" in the Patch Z disscussion forum in the General Discussion area. I'll try to find it if I have more time.
That Charger V8 sound is really good but it sounds just a bit muffled. The F1 sound is also awesome but since you were recording it from behind the head, it had the lower pitched sound eliminated.
Did you clip both sounds to make them that good?
Here. I'm bored of this game as well. The reason why is the time I spent with it. It's similar to having friends you hang out with or a brother or sister. You spend enough time with them that you pretty much know them. What they do and how they act become so repetitive that it becomes annoying, then irritating, then you start going into bitch fits and try to distance yourself from them.
I have a wheel too and although it is more fun, I got sick of the downsides (loud, slow FF, looks like a toy, no h-gate shifter and clutch). I went to FPS games like Counter-Strike and Combat Arms. I'm starting to get sick of them too so I might come back soon.
You aren't missing anything. If you are, it's probably a good challenge.
Just take some time off the game. Then come back when you're ready.
If there are obstacles that aren't worth taking the time passing or are too hard to pass, you've got to make compromises. If a new life was delivered to your very family, you've got to take care of it and spend less time on what you were doing, vice versa, or do both and work like Chuck Norris without the power to scare your computer into doing the work for you. If you don't have gearbox damage or clutch temperature simulated in your game, then you've got to make it impossible to flatshift or leave the ones who rely on auto-clutching to suffer.
I do agree that there should be some community involvement in the developing of LFS but it's their game and we are it's players. They can't force us to all of a sudden start paying per week/month/year, it's our right to spend the money the way we please. If we don't like it, we don't spend on it. Likewise, if they have a life to live or a baby to take care of, we can't tell them to work until 70% of their bodily fluids become coffee, it's their choice on how they want to spend their life, not ours.
That said, I don't care how long it takes to finish it, just as long as it's done and done right. If I get bored then I might leave and come back or leave forever. No bitching necessary. Maybe a friendly suggestion or two but I wouldn't use napalm.
Holy crap. That used to be one of my Hot Wheels cars! Too bad its gone...
Is it a Cadillac or a Buick? I want to know because that's a really clean and good looking car.
^ that is pretty cool. I wish I could do the same!
Anyways, I use left foot all the time on my DFP but I did it differently when I played the Ferarri 355 Challenge at Boomers (the arcade verson). I left-foot braked but when I shifted down, I move my right foot off of the gas so both feet are on the brake. Then I move my left foot to the clutch, and heel-toe.
