You really need to consider the consequences of your actions. Some people really didn't like the Scirocco delay, some people are really beginning to get impatient. I know it may be a joke but don't expect everyone to think it is one or think it is funny.
[/rant] Though I am still young I am really getting irritated at seeing people who have maturity or are capable of having it act really immature or stupid. Why so serious? I and some people don't find your fun to be fun to us. At least show some maturity.[rant]
If anyone finds this the least bit offensive, I'm sorry, but it's something I have grown to hate seeing everyday, like my brother.
Oh and one more thing. If you want really high end projectors, Sony sells their best for $15,000... $15,000!!! Holy sh@! Their other projectors are in the thousands so if you like to build stuff by yourself, I seriously recommend building your own if you can. That Sony projector can buy you a nice car...
You can get huge screen sizes with projectors but make sure you play in a dark room. Ambient lights will wash out the image on the projector. Huge screen sizes mean large pixels which may look ugly, even on 1080P depending on screen size.
What's a beamer? Slang for BMW? A projector?
Triple screens depend on the size of screen you want. If you want to use a good 40-in HDTV for screens, expect to pay $800-$1200 for EACH HDTV.
If you want to use computer monitors, well, they're a lot cheaper.
I will, once I stop procrastinating and finish my homework! Arrrgh... (will most likely put it up tomorrow)
Results are predictable but interesting. But I found my background research on it is even more interesting than the results.
I get massive migraines from playing Counter-strike. I usually get them from playing Zombie Mod because when I become a zombie, I have to use nightvision (everything becomes intensely green, especially white objects) to find the rest of the people (whole map is almost pitch black). After a while that screws me over and I don't have the option to use a flashlight because zombies are too unintelligent to use one.
If I don't get a massive migraine, I look away from the screen and everything that has a whitish color to it now has a tint of purple-red to it and my eyes sting. The same thing happened when I played the COD 4 demo.
I also get migraines if the monitor is set to refresh at less than 60Hz for a long time. The flickering irritates my eyes and my brain feels like it's expanding.
It should be easier to rotate from your heel (alternate heel-toe) than from your toes (normal heel-toe). Most people should be more flexible rotating from their heel rather than their toes. Maybe it goes with the fact that a lot of people's toes point outward too.
I've tried both ways of heel-toe and this is what I came up with:
The alternate method you use does help with flexibility so it should also help with reach. If you twist your ankle to the right you can see that its a lot easier getting it horizontal than twisting it to the left. It should help with pedals that are farther apart. To blip the throttle, you press with the toes. The problem is that I tend to lift my heel to press with my toes. But that can probably be corrected.
Now if I could find that Nascar video, I'd have an example but no luck...
With the traditional heel-toe, it tends to be harder to twist the ankle that way. It works with pedals that are closer together. Obviously to do it you have to have your toes on the brake. Now what you do next really depends. Some people like to use the outside edge of their foot to press the pedals when they are close. Some like to swipe their heel and hit the accelerator. Some like to float their heel over the accelerator and press it down. Some... well you get the point. I find it easier to maintain brake pressure because I have more control at my toes than at my heels and because I don't lift my toes when I press with the heel.
It's really driver preference or whatever he/she is most comfortable doing. There aren't really significant advantages or disadvantages other than comfort or reach. Most problems can be corrected with practice.
Why it's done that way? No idea. Maybe the majority have more toe control than heel control.
Disadvantages? None if you're comfortable with it. It does have reach and comfort as a natural advantage though since most people are more comfortable twisting their ankle to the right.
I get that with the DFP. I just turn the wheel full right then full left to calibrate the thing. When I start LFS, the wheel starts uncalibrated so I have to re-calibrate it before starting and viola: no shaky wheel, no super sensitive steering, no crazy FFB, just make sure you calibrate the wheel inside of LFS.
I didn't have this problem before but when I started playing Counter-Strike again, the whole Internet crashes. I then have to have the router reconnect. It usually happens when I or my brother load 2800-3600 servers up in the server list. I figured out that when it happened, the router's memory usage maxes out and the whole router resets itself. I can't really find a way to make it use less memory and it already uses 75-90% of it's memory doing practically nothing.
I ruled out other clients like wireless users because I disabled wireless. I left most settings on the router the same except for clock speed and maybe a few QOS things (might look into that). Tried closing my brother's chatting apps and it didn't do a thing. I need to find out ways to reduce memory usage on my router.
Well I twisted my ankle a while back but that didn't stop me from playing LFS. I couldn't heel-toe so I used my left foot for braking and my right foot for the gas. I was using sequential so I didn't have to move my ankles around, just blip with the right foot on the gas, have the left foot brake and not worry about a clutch.
If you still want to use a clutch, you should practice using your left foot to blip the clutch while braking. That method seems really unorthodox to me but maybe if you did it enough, you'd get used to it and wouldn't need to use your right foot to blip anymore.
If you can move your right ankle more to the right and reach the throttle, then you can use heel-toe but have your heel on the brake and your toes on the throttle.
I've seen so many examples of that. Those ricer cars look like graphics card artifacts and I find that really funny. If a new NFS had that kind of ricing, I would die of laughter.
Anyways, I don't know how NFS is going to get out of the huge hole they put themselves in. They've been sticking to the tuner theme for too long and if they do come back with an exotic, more race oriented theme, I still don't think they could pull themselves out of that hole.
He was mentioning how realistic handling was compared to other NFS games.
As in closer to reality than other NFS games. Not how it is the most realistic game (but the ricing in that game sure is realistic).
There is definitely no fail in that.
Nice comparo!
But I found that the some of the pictures of the Scirocco had Luthas' lights while others have LFS' lights. Note the abscence of the chrome fitting around each lamp and the size of the lamps.
