I would lock it at the native frame rate of your monitor or its maximum frame rate. Then I put vertical sync on to prevent tearing of the image. It's better visually if you happen to notice tearing. It is probably better for the monitor too because it doesn't have to process images so quickly at such a high frame rate. If you don't care though, it is up to you to limit your fps to a comfortable setting.
I don't fantasize anything. I visualize my actions and the consequences of those actions like so:
I'm about to pass someone and I am outside. A right turn is coming up.
If I try to beat him to the corner and overtake him mid-corner on the outside, I could be pushed off the corner because he might try to speed up as well and could understeer into me.
I can slow down and overtake him later.
I can speed up until the corner entry is about to begin. Then I can slow down suddenly and cause my opponent to speed by me and go farther outside the corner since he wants to get there as fast as he thinks I want to. I can then take the inside of the corner to overtake him because I have a line with a tighter radius and he is trying to lessen his understeer by slowing down.
So then I choose the third option and guess what? It works!
The problem here is that the wheel turning by itself happens in real life too. The solution is that you can stop it by turning off force feedback, but you probably would not want that. Other than turning FFB off, there isn't really a way to stop it. You can turn forces down in LFS and/or the wheel on the profiler if that helps keep some force feedback and reduce countersteer strength.
By instantly do you mean it jumps around to the correct angle or does the wheel just steer you there?
Wait... what? I can't entirely fathom what you're saying. Are you saying that you're imagining yourself doing something similar but different to what you're doing and that helps you accomplish your task?
Well you know Clannad After story was announced right after the final episode of Clannad. Tomoyo After (aka Tomoyo-Hen) circulated the internet since June 8 or so (there's a trailer somewhere).
Oh, that could just be coincidence. Maybe the artist wanted to draw a kei car that looked like a UF1 or Mini, but it looks more like some of the Subaru kei cars.
You should wait for the shipping because in the end, it would cost a little less money and a little more time. I got my DFP for 100$ (shipping included) from walmart. You can also stop by a Fry's Electronics and hope they have one there as well.
It's not a good idea to spend it so quickly. You should wait for the Logitech Driving Force GT to come out and work on the PC (if it does) and buy that because it is esentially better than a DFP. For example, I almost totally regret buying a Dell XPS because if I devoted more time to building my PC at Christmas, I would have gotten a faster computer without a bloated OS like Vista or I could have saved some money for upgrades.
Or you can save that money for something better if you can't decide.
Blood+ is about a schoolgirl who soon learns that she is the only one with special powers who can stop creatures called chiropterans. That's what the basic plot is but it becomes very complicated with other things that I won't spoil.
Clannad is epic. It's damn funny and it has multiple (and epic) plots. Two new stories are going to come out too: Clannad After Story and Tomoyo After.
Try recalibrating in LFS (turn it full right and left yourself). Disable dead zones in both the profiler and LFS. Right click steering wheel in the profiler and make sure range is 100% and there are no dead zones.
If all else fails, unplug it and try it again.
If that fails, start googling.
If that also fails, start saving some money.
It's ok but I got tired of watching it once Chad and Ishida got together with Ichigo to get Inoue back.
Naruto failed me after the Sausuke Arc because it had hundreds of filler episodes after that.
Both are licensed too so I don't bother finding it.
35 pounds?! That's a bargain! Oh and congrats on the S2 license.
Yes, the DFP pedals have different stiffnesses too, but just barely. At the beginning both pedals have the same stiffness but near their stop, the brake is stiffer.
I own a Driving Force Pro and I have tried a G25 out. I personally think that the G25 is better. But I'll list the pros and cons of both wheels that I know and experienced myself.
DFP:
Pros: Great price, a lot of buttons on the wheel, durable, grippy wheel, decent force feedback, good build overall.
Cons: Wheel has a lot of resistance against turning even with force feedback set all the way down, pedals aren't the greatest (revision A models have a pedal problem where they mysteriously don't work until you release the pedal then step on it again, revision B models do not have this problem). Wheel feels like a toy because of its size, slow force feedback. Loud.
G25:
Pros: Bigger wheel, dual motors give faster and stronger force feedback, less motor resistance means faster wheel turning, clutch and shifter, durable, shifter becomes sequential or h-pattern, nice paddle shifters. Much quieter than the DFP
Cons:
A bit pricey for some, shifter is the weakest link (it clicks loudly, has no resistance), less buttons on the wheel.
Both wheels have plastic clamps which I don't like because they slip and I've had the DFP hit me in the chest because I was pulling on it while steering for some reason. My solution was some black, grippy electrical tape on the clamps and the surface that meets the table top.
If you want to go all out, get the G25 and you won't regret it. If you are a little concerned about price but still want a good wheel, the DFP is best. However, there is a third wheel called the Driving Force GT. This wheel was meant for Gran Turismo 5 Prologue but it is esentially a better DFP. From what I've heard, the wheel is bigger and feels better, it has the same buttons and it also includes dials, its quieter and the force feedback has improved. The pedals look the same though so it doesn't seem that those have improved. The rest is almost the same as the DFP and its about $150 (approx 77 pounds). However, I do not know if this will work for the PC or not so you might want to wait and see.
I use Firefox with a couple of tweaks to get it up to speed. I'm probably going to stay with Firefox and tweak the next version the same way. That way, I'll be getting seizures at how quickly I can load pages.
I don't have a car yet but as far as I know, I'm not going to do that to my car. However, I have tennis in the morning and there is a parking lot that surrounds the court. There is one speed bump that is much taller than the others and also not as wide. Even if a car passes over it at about 6-10 mph, it manages to bottom itself out. Everyday I hear the crunch of bodywork hit the asphalt and the sound of creaking suspension parts. One lady in a van drove to it fairly quickly and hit the brakes and I saw the van did a small wheel stand. The next time she went over it, she was really careful.
There is a Nismo 350z on the other side of the speed bump. I knew the owner was able to miss the speed bump because the speed bump doesn't span far enough but I can't imagine what would happen if he went over it. He'd probably lose the front lip spoiler, his exhaust, and maybe a chunk of his rear "diffuser-like" thing.
It was AVG for me but Avast blew it out of the water for me. The ability to customize how it did things and the providers won my respect for having it. I'd have no anti-virus but once in a while my dad goes on my computer and goes to betting sites which seem unsafe. I only have it as a safety measure.
I have and I love it (with the exception of the 1st 3 episodes). It is probably my favorite anime to date. I don't think it's crazy, I think its fun and smart. On the other hand, Azumanga Daioh is crazy.
I've been watching Code Geass R2. Unfortunately, it isn't better than the 1st series yet.
I just downloaded the same drivers and they work fine for my 8600gts overclocked. Check to see if your 3d settings in the Nvidia control panel have changed or your clocks have changed. The only problem I have with my card is that if I use 16xQ with supersampling, I get frame rates as low as 8 fps at some parts of blackwood (over the crest) and other places.
Yes, with the pedals, you can reduce the amount of wheel spin your car gets because you can modulate the throttle proportionally and smoothly. For how much you should press, you need to experiment because every car setup is different if you are the one who grabs or changes the setups often. With a manual transmission, clutch (dfp doesn't have a clutch pedal), and a good amount of skill, you can modulate the clutch and throttle in such a way that you have a blazing start.
However, cars in LFS seem to start faster with wheel spin. I've tried this many times and it was almost always faster with some wheel spin, not a lot.
DFP's work for the PC too. They have a USB cable so you can put it in the computer and with the right drivers, you can use it. I'd go for the DFP because it has 900 degree steering, giving you a better range of rotation selection. It has more buttons too which I find very convienent.
Though if you do have the money, I'd say go for the G25. Or you can buy the DFP and then get S2.
