My Dell XPS 420. I've had it for 2 years. I don't bother cleaning it. I was happy and carefree with it... for a few weeks. Then Vista got slow and annoying and my video card struggled to play games at high quality. On hot days, the graphics card would quit on me and BSOD me out of Windows. Thanks alot Nvidia 8600GTS. I though I could upgrade it somehow but there was only room for 2 hard drives and the power supply was for the BTX form factor so I couldn't do anything about the graphics card. Oh and there was only one 16X Pci-E slot and the CPU cooler was humongous so I couldn't fit a decent video card in there, not that it would work in the first place. Thanks crappy Dell PSU. And the case door vibrates when it's on a hardwood floor. Whenever I do homework with this computer I go insane in 15 minutes.
Now I overclocked the 8600GTS and switched to Windows 7 to make up for the losses. Sadly, only Windows 7 made up for Vista, and my card still struggles. I wish this "divorce" happened sooner. My brother will have no idea how bad this XPS 420 is.
Here's to 3 more months with this PC, and to many more years with my soon-to-be custom built PC.
Pleeeeease make these 3 months fly quickly. I beg of you.
I heard the Prestige edition goggles have two night vision modes: black and white or night vision green. No one but the staff at Infinity Ward knows how well they work.
Prestige edition is only for the Xbox 360 and the PS3, and is very limited in supply, so they will not make anymore once they have all sold out. If the Prestige edition was already completely pre-ordered, then there will be no more Prestige editions left when MW2 is released, so the best thing to do is to pre-order it to secure a Prestige edition. Sadly, PC players get no love. There is only the standard edition of MW2 for them.
Dev's work at their own pace and add what they want. If you are unsatisfied you may:
a. Cry some more
b. Ragequit
c. Politely STFU and GTFO
d. Wait
e. ?????
f. PROFIT!
Ironically you timed your post right when another update was announced. I don't understand why you're so angry if another quality update is coming unless you don't care about physics. Then you can wait for Forza 3, GT5, NFS:S, and Dirt 2 because those games can cater to your desires.
A Razer Lachesis.
It's tough to get a good grip on it though since it's an ambidextrous mouse with a narrow body and a low profile. Other than that, it feels and performs like God and all that is holy in my hand.
Graphics are doing well. Its not a eye-murdering bloomfest anymore. Still has that crappy brown look though.
Physics are a lot better than the last DiRT. It looks a bit too grippy though, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt because there are probably options to turn off driving aids if they were used. The chase camera is part of the reason why the car looks like its hooked on rails though.
I liked it. It was a change from all the other animes I've seen but sadly, I never got around to watch the 3rd season and I'm playing FPS more often than eating or breathing.
