Yeah, okijuhans, that was pretty useless... You win the useless post of the week award. Gratz.

clix813, use the search function to find proper Momo Race settings, or better yet, check the link at the top of this page for the LFS Manual. Inside it is a great wealth of info on how to configure your Momo. IIRC, this has something to do with too much FFB in the control panel.

I don't normally like animated, but 8/10 for effort

Try Virtual Dub. It's OpenSource software, so it's free. Might take a minute to get used to, but if you've used software to compress videos before, it shouldn't be much of a task. You can find it at this link: http://www.virtualdub.org/

Pretty cool.

One suggestion, since each video is only 2min~40sec long, you could manage to use more compression on the video/audio. Even with AVI, the file sizes shouldn't really be much more than 20mb each at that time length. Even then, that's a generous amount of space. I only suggest this so more people will be willing to download your videos in the future

Not sure if you could mount the camera inside the car by chance. The wind on the microphone really distorts the other sounds that could of come through. Again, just trying to be positive with the criticism. Keep 'em comming

The original got locked.

iluv2sk8, it's ok to have a thread locked and not follow it with another thread apologizing about the first thread. The best apology in this case is to learn from your mistakes and why the original thread got locked, and try not to repeat them

I've found the best reason for giving a corner a name of any sorts is when you're on TeamSpeak or Vent with people in the same race on a public server, you can warn them about an accident at a corner with a quick name. Other than that, names are just novelty, IMO.

Please post the model numbers of your video cars so those who might have an answer to this can better assist you. Thanks

I'm not sure you appreciate the time that went into those 'small updates'. There are, after all, only 3 developers. Sure it helps when they can have the community test the patches, but only so much.

The point I'm getting at is, you have a good while to wait before the next 'official' update. I hope you have the ability to be patient, because you'll need it.

The raw materials you'd need, the time invested and all things considered, you'd be better off just buying your friend a Logitech Driving Force Pro (DFP) wheel for $80 with some of that $500 you had left over from your G25

Congratz! I hope it makes the game all the more fun for you

Absolutely no one is going to help you if you keep up with this style of posting. I personally ignored when you made 2 separate threads asking what wheel you should buy (or have parents buy for you, it would seem...?). Now you are spamming your own thread asking about something that has NOTHING to do with racing in a sim.

No offense buddy, but you're headed down the wrong road here. Now would be a good time to turn it around...

A .75 - 1.5 inch drop is more than it seems, especially when it's dealing with your suspension. Either way, just be careful. Some mistakes you can't take back

Yep. You'll also find all the info you could possibly want by Google searching "Logitech G25".

Best of luck.

What do your funds look like? That's really the biggest decider, how much you're willing to spend.

Well, if money is no concern, just get the G25

Quote from SamH :Is that supposed to be a relevent response?

Being from the US, I can say it is

Edit: *Reason* I was actually hit and run from an illegal alien with no license or insurance in my first new car...

Quote :Your apology will be accepted when you demonstrate your sorry by not acting like a twat on the track.

I couldn't give a toss about what you say or do on the forums. Act maturely on the track and no-one will even notice you

Amen to that!

Inside your LFS directory, you will find a DATA folder, within that you will find a Settings folder. Drag your downloaded setups into that folder, then simply find them in the in-game garage

You do realize the FXO is FWD right? I suggest using a very stiff setup with lots of handbrake

Try this site...

http://www.spdoracing.com/lfsw/quick_script.php?racer=LFSWname

Replace LFSWname with your game name

(Thanks to sccc|zeugnimod for giving me this link just yesterday!)

Correct. As long as it's been uploaded to LFSworld, everyone on that server can see the skin.
