Actually, that's fairly realistic. If you look at the response times that you can achieve with your hands, compared to your feet, your hands will almost always be faster. You can find this to be true in how fast you can react to a green light on a motorcycle when compared to how fast you can step on the gas in a car. Simply put, the impulses reach your hands and back to your brain that much faster, also it's more natural to use your hands to activate controls

Don't get me wrong though, ask anyone in Taikwondo (sp?) and they can become just as quick with their feet as with their hands. Just takes retraining your brain a bit.

Not sure if you participated in the test patches, but this was discussed quite a bit during testing. The final result seemed to have plenty of people pleased. I would suggest that what you're looking at is a very small sample of drivers on a single circuit, and that's it.

This is true. There's many many choices on what we can put in a diesel car, just not many of them have been considered yet.

I still pick Diesel though for everyday use, considering electric still relies on (in the states) the bulk of it's supply from coal burning stations.

Well, sadly, that's what happens on an overcrowded server with lack of authority watching every race. Frankly, if I see a name I know vote to kick someone, I will vote with them, especially if I know they don't just toss out kicks and bans over everything.

Sure it might suck sometimes, but it's the best we have to work with

I only hate hotlappers that bring their hotlapping style to pub servers, with no regard for anyone in their 'hotlap lane'. Please die.

Otherwise, hotlapping is great for improving sets, knowing your lines, brake points and exit speeds. I don't want to see this feature gone, but I'd love to see the hotlapper mentality gone from pub servers

I don't do drag races. In fact, I hate them. Though, in terms of 'realism', as this sim strives to accomplish, there should be some form of tire warm-up in drag races, as in real life.

CD4 wasn't showing in the server list earlier when I tried to find it. I had to manually type the server name in to join, then was spammed by the licence mod in the chat chan, and was unable to start a race. This a bug?

The CD3 server is nothing short of a total nightmare ANY time I join. It's pointless. Period. When you can't even complete a single lap without being full-throttle rear-ended or just plain crushed to death by brain-dead people in T1/T2, the fun is completely gone.

Thanks for your time CD people, I'll be back whenever you get CD4 straightened out. In the mean time, I SUGGEST (not order you, like you claim people do)that you implement some sort of reporting feature if you want to stay above board in all of this. Also extend bans past 12 hours. People do NOT improve in 12 hours...

And with that, I wish you all the best of luck and hope some of you start racing on CD4, instead of conforming and just racing with the constant cluster**** that is CD3

I'm with you Jay. If I hit a curb, I'm already prepared to go on 2 wheels, and I'm already preparing to get myself back on 4. Gotta remember, most of these curbs are hit at how much speed? That's a lot of spring compression
