Just installed it, looks all nice and finally the text has a cleartype function! I like how the tabs have moved to the uppermost of the window saving room.

Can't see any performance increases but I never really could with any browsers.

Quote from flymike91 :The words "audiophile" and "pretentious bastard" sound just right together

Not really, if you listen to music alot and care about the reproduction then you are an 'audiophile', that isn't exactly being pretentious. I wouldn't go out and buy a pair of headphones, or any hi-fi equipment without checking reviews first because I want a good balanced sound, and you pay the price.

Goldring NS1000

Slightly over your budget of £50 at £55 but amazing product and RRP @ £160. I have them myself, decided to get some proper travel/outdoor headphones after breaking earphones all the time.

Trust me, sounds amazing, well balanced, blocks most of the external sound without even using the active noise cancelling function. They are 'over ear' so cup it well, they won't fall off. The wire connecting the headphones to the source is seperate to both the headphones and the source, so if you break it simply get another 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack and you're back in business...if you manage to break the one supplied anyway which is rock solid and really well made.

Had a pair for months now, walk to work with them on and also when I'm on my dinner or generally the 2.5 mile trek to the girlfriends...even done in the rain. Brilliant piece of kit and definitely recommended.

Statistics mean nothing when discrimination is put on the field, and considering the massive change of insurance premiums we've seen at least as UK motorists in the last year, this will change the whole young driver market for sure.

I'm an insurance consultant and still ask how long you've lived in the UK for, and if the customer says for X amount of years and not all thier life...the premium goes up. Now I still am required to say this question so I'm assuming this is still the case with some underwriters as statistically again people who haven't lived in the UK all thier life cause more accidents?

Insurance should be the only business that allows for what they have seen as discriminatory; as you say Bob, for the simple reason it's based upon facts and not bias. I always thought that discrimination in a court of law had an underlying meaning of prejudice, which this surely isn't if it based on fact?
European gender ruling over insurance

"Insurers cannot charge different premiums to men and women because of their gender, the European Court of Justice (ECJ) has ruled.

The decision means that women can no longer be charged lower car insurance premiums than men."

This is quite a stir considering my insurance premiums as a young male, maybe this means I will actually see a decrease in my premium at renewal?

The engine mount has gone on my car, the one at the gearbox, but it's broken badly the bolt is still stuck in so it needs to be drilled out and replaced, so it's more of an engineering job.

The garage I've taken it too has got my car, I have no idea when I get my car back because it's only open 3 days a week, nor do know how much it's going to cost to replace since when I took it there and the mechanic having a quick look...he said it's gone before by the look of it (which is has)...and it's been 'repaired' badly, even seeing an 8mm bolt but through a 12mm hole, so the hole is like an oval now and there's some damage to the gearbox. He explained it could be £50 if it all goes well but the whole engine and gearbox has moved so there could be more damage on closer inspection. He's keeping in touch so he can give me a more accurate quote but worst case scenario it may need a new gearbox altogether which would make the repair pointless since it's a £500 1.2 2000 Clio.

I've bought this car off my brother in law who did explain it was fixed before he sold it to me, and was led to believe so. It lasted 2 months...not even 500 miles before the mount broke again. I've not paid him any money for the car yet, and I'd rather not cause a family dispute, however I'd be pissed off if he still expects even the £400 he wanted for it.

I'm now spending money on public transport aswell as car insurance on a car I can't use to see my girlfriend.

You think you have it bad?

Quote from danthebangerboy :Precisely whats on with me ATM mr skunk, we literally know eachother inside out, she probably knows me better than i know myself, scary stuff, this is all very new terratory for me, a trip into the unknown!

Just let it flow and grow, if you were very good friends before you decided to make something more of it the main thing that can potentially spoil it is if there is something different to how you act in a relationship scenario to just being friends.

Quote from S14 DRIFT :Seriously what girl at 17 or 18 truely knows what she wants...I do but then I'm a)neither a girl, b)am 19 (HUUGE DIFFERENCE) and c)a very strange person who has ones life planned out already. If a girl can't pick her favorite Jedward then what ****ing hope do we have?

Depends on how you look at it, realistically speaking relationships come and go from whenever you decide to start. If you want a progressive fulfilled career then yes, you're more than likely right.

Every relationship is different from what I've been part of, and as cliche as it is, it's because everyone is different. I make no efforts to control relationships other than let them flow because in doing so this is how you find out what that person actually wants, and if you're both mutually right for each other. Right now I'm very happy with my girlfriend, she's amazing and the differences we have only make us closer, and it's all happened what I can only explain as naturally, she is 18 and I'm 22.

If you find a girl that you'd consider your best friend, I'd not hesitate and try and make something bigger come of that. My sister went out with her fiance for bits at a time all the way back from when they were in primary school and they are still together now at the age of 24. She was engaged at 17 and probably be married by now if thier plans weren't so damn extravagant. I know this is a (very) rare case but just to put forward relationships aren't so linear as to suggest age is such a huge factor.

Quote from logitekg25 :so do you have to press triangle to enable the g25 clutch?

or is it on when you set the clutch to the pedal, or what? :scared:

It was triangle in Prologue but I think in GT5 it's enabled by pressing the clutch...or at least it seemed to when using my G25. However the clutch doesn't have analogue functionality which I find kinda pointless, you don't push the pedal in just a tiny bit all the way and it won't allow you to shift. Really annoying tbh.

I hope in time to come GT5 will fully support the G25/27 and have better force feedback.

Quote from Jakg :
The iPhone has an *amazing* software keyboard - I can use it just as fast as I can the hardware one on my phone. Based purely on this, and it's overall slickness, probably going to be my next phone...

I was testing my step dads HTC Desire on the newest Android OS, and the software keyboard was pretty much identical in performance to my iTouch and I found no lag when testing certain things such as the browser. I was impressed actually with the HTC phone, but in comparison I find the iPhone's OS and Android operate the same, there is just more freedom with Android.

No exactly a bad thing for Apple though, as it's very simplistic and easy to use...however my opinion in regards to 'smart phones' is if you're going to buy one you might as well have freedom with it; with lots of options and things to play with...so in that regards I'd recommend an Android phone but I don't know the best one to get.

Quote from BAMBO :Clearly a change in reasoning due to the culture seeing as we're all normally programmed by nature to run and preserve ourselves if all else is lost. But perhaps it's a loophole. What if the culture's stance on death rose up from the fact that the respective people looked highly upon those who gave their lives for the rest to survive.

Although you have given a very brief definition. There are quite a few scenarios in which one would be given the option of "accepting death" so what specific case are we talking about?

Indeed it is a broad scenario, and it's hard to give you a specific case because in one way or another I'll tailor it to suite what I said. However some religions (if not all, I'm not sure) teach of an afterlife, and for instance religious radicals may end their own life along with others to serve their beliefs, and I cannot see how this is related to evolution.
