Quote from Jakg :BTW the stories on her site are mainly fabrication and a lot of the photo's are staged (i.e. rooms furniture altered etc).

Chernobyl is interesting but this bage is just BS unfortunately. Still a good read.

Also where is this read in english please? (I am not calling you a liar, would like to know )

Proton forums = Proton fanboi's. There isn't any point lowering a road car, and there isn't any point getting fancy wheels to stick on a car as ugly as that (sorry :razz.

My view is, they shouldn't need to pay. If a car manufacturer is happy and passionate about sharing a car in LFS then this car deserves to be in it.

What I hope however is that the clutch physics imitate RL in this one

I'd get practical upgrades;

-comfort upgrades
-upgrades that will increase fuel efficiency without losing power

Quote from Dajmin :To be honest, if it's made from volcanic rock it's not surprising you need 1200hp just to get it rolling. And they can theorise all they like about making it light, but thin rock crumbles very easily and erodes over time in the rain, even igneous stuff.

Well the title is confusing, obviously overblown to get attention, heres a little more info on Barotex;

Quote :Barotex's prime function was to
design, develop and bring to market a specialty composite type fiber
with application in a multitude of markets as a woven fabric, filament
wound configuration, continuous weave product, a chopped fiber and a
spun fiber that has high-heat resistance and sound
deadening/insulating properties.

Barotex fibers are currently processed out of mineral rocks of
volcanic origin through multiple confidential patented processes. The
base fibers formulated with carbon or ceramic fibers and/or various
metals have been developed into new hybrid composite type materials
and technologies to open a new page in 21st Century fiber material
science. Depending upon the weave and composite material introduced
into the fibers, BAROTEX can work as a replacement for Carbon Fiber,
Kevlar and other such high demand materials.

If thats a realistically interprited render, then this car will look fugly.

If everyones driving a muscle car on the same track then its competitive no matter how badly a car handles, even on a technical circuit.

I would like some more variety in cars, but at the same time I want things like collision physics to be improved beforehand.

Perhaps, if we think that people should keep the death of their pet to themselves, maybe we should keep our nasty opinions and jibes to ourselves too, or at least PM only.

There, nail on the head.

Quote from tristancliffe : If you don't want to listen to an aspect of humanity that doesn't think in the same way as you (or, as it's called, putting the blinkers on) then just automatically hide my posts. It really is that simple.

Your thoughts are your thoughts. You opinions are your opinions.

At the end of the day though the post felt like a provocative attempt, like you seem to do a lot, to start an argument where it is not needed.

I bet the people that shared your opinion on Jordan's thread, thought it but didn't want to share the thought out of respect for someone's feelings.

If he wants to post his grief publicly on the forum, then so be it. It was his choice, and this forum grants that choice.

Some people decided rather than being respectful and either posting condolences, or just not posting at all; to post and derail the thread at their choice leading to it being locked.

He was upset, but some people decided to kick him while he was down and give him an attempted reason to why he should not have posted it.

Shameful.

Making a list is probably the quickest way...Sam93 has already given you the details on where to find the base axis. I've tried making seperate profiles in the profiler for 720, 540 etc but it won't allow me because you can only have 1 profile for each game. Remember when changing the steering axis on the profiler to get it to a multiple of 5 and then press the left and right arrow keys on the keyboard...its much faster

There a scripting system in LFS for automatically changing the steering wheel axis and gear buttons etc (for gear I also use them how LFS depicts them...so paddles for BF1, and sequential for FBM). I have not yet done the scripts though, so you'll have to follow the guide.

A wired xbox360 controller might be the best, it is fully functional on the PC for well...all games really. The PS3 controller also works but its not exactly plug and play like the xb360 one.

There are a few cheapish wheels out there, but I would only go with Logitech wheels.

Well it says it has a unique suspension system, but I still think even with all the technology onboard to help it out, the front tires are gunna take too much punishment on the race track.

Quote from sam93 :Don't worry, I don't really know how better I can explain it, really if you don't have the car undercontrol, the car isn't under control that's all. Said this because Jakg was on about being careful with the throttle.
Sorry don't always make sense when I say things

Well you lose quite a lot of speed with too much power on a FWD from wheel spin, remember the front wheels are having to deal with the steering and the acceleration. You tend to understeer rather than oversteer (I guess thats mainly on your driving style though), both pretty reasonable to control on a nicely weight balanced car such as a Focus.

Its just a shame on this one that so much power goes to waste. 4WD tbh, thats what this car needs to be impressive.

Quote from RacerAsh3 :Seen that on Road Wars about 2 years ago, i still wonder how the hell it happened, even 2 years on

You can see its a mechanical failure of some kind tbh, even without the report, shes already turning around the corner, and without moving the wheel the bus jolts right and goes forward.

Looks nice actually, awful colour though...and tbh too much power for a FWD imo.

I thought the same thing. However I tried something different...I enabled LFS to show the pedals on the bottom right, and I enabled auto-clutch.

With racing setups, the car with auto-clutch seemed to set off perfect with just a light press on the throttle, and observing the pedal bars, LFS seemed to be using the clutch as you would in a real car. However when I tried to do it manually, it took some real precise movements, and it did stall and shake alot.

I am wondering myself if it has something to do with the clutch and throttle being on the same level on my G25, whereas the throttle is set further back than the clutch in real life.
