nothing has changed. You clearly don't know how to use effects to their full, and you clearly do not know how advanced video editing works. I recommend NOT to do another badly underedited dubstep drift video, and do something that's more in your league, and that could actually be enjoyable
The beginning was absolutely spoiled by awfuly coloured text flying over the screen. Also cars going though camera, quite a bit of lag, and losing all the epicness of the video right after the planet shot. Server messages should have been removed. The camerawork also becomes really average (I'd say weak, but you're using smooth enough custom cameras, so I can't) after the intro. The corny speed-training-rpm text layered over just finishes the movie off for me. Sorry, I can't watch 6 minutes of video with an epic intro hoping for it to become epic again.
It feels like the 2 movie makers made this, a talented one, and an novice one. The first guy did the first 40 seconds, the second one - everything else
Using mouse and it's buttons. That's about all the extra info I can give you based on your detailed description of your problem in your software which you should always state.
Im sorry but have you been reading the thread in the first post?
quoting
"I got so distracted by the beautiful sight of Tintern Abbey that I forgot to steer the car"
"As i turned a corner it fell over, without thinking I bent down to stand it up again, completely forgetting that I was driving a car"
Or the real story that I witnessed. Was returning home from the boat, asked a friend to pick me up at the airport. Sat in the back, cause her brother was with her, and he was sitting in the front. I took out my freshly bought cell phone, she NOTICED IT THROUGH THE REARVIEW MIRROR, DROPPED THE WHEEL AND PEDALS, UNBUCKLED HER BELT, TURNED AROUND AND ASKED ME TO SHOW THE PHONE TO HER... it's not really comforting to see the front passenger steering while the driver's ass is pressing the car's horn...
Men are better racers - not really, Men are better drivers - most definetly, due to being able to concentrate on the fact they're in a ton and a bit of metal doing 60 mph. There may be one in a thousand chance that a woman can drive, but while being happy for women all around the world, that still leaves 999 who can't
Who's that bashing, a guy with zero to none movie making experience, and a lame insult to other people's work?
If you're really going to sh*t in someone's thread, you could AT LEAST do a decent job on it. So either do quality bashing, or step aside, and let the professional assh*les (I.E: me) do their job.
On topic
1. The above mentioned car disappearing was a bad thing
2. If you overlay sounds, do it in all the movie (unless you're splitting the movie into different sequences, which is not the case here)
other than that, it's good. I liked it, even the music. Crashes were nice, and added action to the action. The sound syncing could have been a bit better, but you'll learn. The camerawork was decent, and the video left an overall good impression on me. What I'd do better though, is the finish line crossing scene, I wouldn't freeze frame, I'd slow down as much as possible, but it depends on the PC specs...
Finally somebody did "The UFO" move in a drift video...
On topic - it's hard to see the skin when the camera is shaking and floating randomly, with flashes and zooms happening at every beat... otherwise - meh, it's an ok video
I can do better with Windows Movie Maker... At no point did you need to have Vegas to make this movie. And that's the least of your problems with movie making, the capture is just "ugh", leaving hud on, using LFS default cameras, music is lol worthy...
This was extremely weak. The 30 second cheese intro using 20th century Fox music was SO cheesy , that I still can't figure if it was for real, or was it just a bad joke...
1. Low FPS
2. Bad camera positioning AND movement
3. Repeating scenes
4. Extremely useless and bad special effects
5. Using default cameras
6. Including overly long and pointless scenes (like the car spinning with white background)
7. Playback speed issues
8. Music that doesn't make the movie better, and you didn't even sync the editing to it
9. Bad drifting
NOW, promise the community, and yourself, to go http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=53389 HERE, read on how to make good movies, and use that knowledge, cause if you don't improve, and make another movie, the comments are going to be.... harsh.....
Great, an arcadey F1 game, with scars on broadway soundtrack, confusing menu, and the female voice calling you "Bossman" or "Speedy" all the time cause your name isn't in the list you have to chose from... NICE
