I still have to see SOMEBODY show me some drifting that can be called "ultimate car control". Just for the heads up - BF1 in South City doing 101% of WR is "ultimate car control", drifting is EASY (And don't try to put "you hate it cause you can't do it" in here, cause I can, and I can't be bothered anymore)
Your argument is childish and immature.
Or in other words, every drift video tries to be a complex edited drift movie with lots of effects syncronised to dubstep... and 9 out of 10 fails hard at that...
Most of them don't bring ANYTHING that we haven't seen for the past 3 years...
ANYWAY
Why is there a full HUD in the beginning of the vid, why is there no cool slo-mo, why are the lfs pre-defined cams used at all, why don't we get better sounds, better audio editing, better set up for the jump (at least SOME kind of an intro would be good), why didn't you make it look at least dramatic, or funny or ANYTHING OTHER than jumping and crashing your car
Ehm... I take it you two need to get a separate thread. The one that gives out BJ's to LFS and bashes on any other game that's trying to get close to being realistic
even if it was smoother, it still would be rather boring, due to not showing skill and action at the best angles, and not amplifying the looks with well placed effects
Not exactly fast on thinking yourself I see. Well Tomba, you've always been (and don't worry, still are) quite an clueless tasteless and bland person. And about your doubts, yep, never before have I been in a BMW, let alone drive one....
except owning a E30 325 IX as a first car...... and then a E36 328 as a third one..... and then having a E38 750 iL for a month, that my friend left with me while he was in UK.... and a E34 M5 I've test driven back when I was working at a used car dealership back when I was 21.... and a E39 M5 a few months after that, and I haven't EVER driven a E46 325 that one of my ex girlfriends had... except when I was driving it to work 5 times a week....and those are just tips of the iceberg, I've been in quite a LOT BMW's over the years, so yep, you sure got me there, never before have I even SEEN a BMW... except that I have...
And yeah "Chris Bangle designed BMW's are awesome because I say so and my father owns one" doesn't mean it's true, it means you and your father both are boring, bland and tasteless.
And about your list, it's frankly pathetic, your chosen "timeless classics" are re-defined every 2 years judging by your "current list". None of those matter, you should just admit to yourself that you don't know cars that actually matter, you just whore your allegiance to the car you've seen last on the interwebs. If that's not enough of a reason for you to understand how wrong you are, you should add "ignorant" to the list of names I've called you.
I hope now you're happy you replied and so nicely PM'ed me a link to your post where you try and insult me, with a request to reply.
Thank you for using Squidhead's ranting services, and remember, you want somebody to shit all over you, nobody does it better than Squid
1 You fail so much at a basic burnout... how do you manage that?
2 The drifting is mediocre at best
3 Car is driving through the camera
4 You use effects just to have a tick by the "special effects" box in your video, not to make your video look better, which is bad
5 Your camerawork manages to be blend and unimformative at the same time, always chosing some of the worst angles to show your lines and drifting as a whole
6 Vob Mods are forbidden, mmkay?
7 The ending to the video doesn't exist, the video just stops
8 The music stops a LOT earlier than the video
(By the way, your license plate... "Dura", means "female idiot" in Russian)
no offence, Shotglass, but is there a name for that pacifist yoghurt commercial, where pink unicorns eat rainbows and crap butterflies in between giving piggyback rides to hippies, you seem to live in? What difference does your "extreme" example makes? What's similar between a command to "commit war crime" and a command to "Provide aerial backup to ground units"? Why do you hate a guy who's doing his job so much? Cause of his job? Cause he chose to? And how do YOU know they chose to?
akhem and quoting
"Currently, male U.S. citizens, if aged eighteen through twenty five, are required to register with the Selective Service System, whose mission is "to provide manpower to the armed forces in an emergency""
I'm pretty sure this means nobody chose to be trained to kill, and even if they did it doesn't matter cause they will be trained anyway.
If you're raging pacifism over "unforgiveable deaths of innocent bystanders" then how's about "they walked straight into the war zone cause it's their job". They could have chosen different jobs, the ones that wouldn't require them to stick their thick heads into the middle of a firefight with equipment that may look like weapons from a few miles away
And fps... and shadows... and blur... and textures... and fire/ice/water effects... and having more objects which react to physical input... and having more objects to be drawn at all... and higher resolution...
yup... exactly the same....
