I prefer that people post their entire configurations anyway because otherwise I'm curious as to what the rest of their PC is.However, for the question you were asking, he is TECHNICALLY right because only the CPU, RAM and GFX really come into play as far as tweaking the system.

Basically you want to open up the nVidia Control Panel (from the other Control Panel, lol) and there should be a section where you can specify "override" settings for each individual video game for AA, AS and other effects. That's a start anyway.

Yeah, I'm trying to work out that problem. The 12 disk platters spinning at that speed tend to create subtle shifts in the space-time continuum. I bolted my case to the floor (it had a tendency to rotate counter-clockwise in a hover state a few feet off the ground) but as a result, the continuum is now tugging the earth slightly, and it's slightly spinning the North American Tectonic Plate clockwise (like grabbing the rotors on a helicopter will force the whole helicopter to start spinning.) I'm pretty certain that if I add 4 more hard drives and mount them upside down, it should cancel out the effects, but I can't afford any right now, so you'll all have to live with the small tremors until then.
It's water-cooled of course. Trust me, when you have 4 hard-drives spinning at 40,000+RPM, a few fans aren't enough!
Are you kidding? I overclocked my hard-drive to 42,000 RPM and it practically doubled my framerate!!!

Agreed. I'm just pointing out what he was saying. If you have two cores, you can get twice as much stuff done in the same amount of time IF the software takes advantage of it, which I guess does technically mean your processor (note singular) runs at 2x2Ghz or 4Ghz. It's just that the way he stated it made it sound like he had each processor clocked at 10 Ghz. We all know what he meant - it's just nitpicking really.
I think he was referring to the 20 Ghz as the bullshit - not the fact that he had 2 quad-core processors.
Agreed. Nothing is more exciting than avoiding 4 spun-out cars in turn 2 with 20 other cars all around you trying to do the same thing. I don't at all understand the whole SHIFT+P!!!! rule as soon as you are about to crash so that other people don't get messed up. If it's a really STUPID error, then maybe, but if it's just a typical error (hitting the curb too hard, another car, taking a turn a bit too fast, etc...) I think it should be allowed to play out. All the people on these forums are so concerned with realism in racing, I don't understand why they insist that cars vanish at the first sign of trouble.

Plus, that way if you feel the need to contribute to a thread in which they are involved, you can at least see the ENTIRE conversation instead of only parts of it. Besides, anyone who really annoys me that much, I simply enjoy flaming them until the thread gets locked anyway :P

No actually, it's very effective. If it wasn't for all the censorship that goes on in the media today, I think it would be safe to say that Bush would NOT have been reelected.
I just don't think the guy was saying "ZOMG HAXXORS I GOTS DA BEST CPUz IN TOWN!!!" I think he was just happy that he'd just doubled his performance and felt like telling everyone. Compared to what he had - his current processor is a speed demon.
