I'm working on a program for LFS (want to keep it quiet... for now) .. however i am having issues decoding the 'TINY_REN' IS_TINY packet... i have my case properly setup.. all my other cases work fine... but i cant seem to get it to recognize the race ending (returning to pre-grid)... Im using Visual C#... if anyone has any ideas... please let me know. thx.
Ok i have searched to no end here for almost half an hour now... so pls dont tell me to use the search button.. as it already got a workout
I am trying to figure out how to timestamp the beginning of a race using LFSLapper... Am i looking in the wrong place? Is it a setting in the server's config file?
Sam, system down on UF-BR.. and obviously other servers. The madness that has ensued due to this is absolutely mind boggling... newbs with no car control going unrestricted and wrecking everyone. If i could report i would.
Yep i use my bind for more minor mistakes... but if i ram someone off by accident or cause them to spin 9 times out of 10 ill go spectate... thats clearly evident in my stats too as ive only completed just under 70% of my total races :P
Good to see some of you agree with my experiences. It is just so darn frustrating after hours of being wrecked race after race... i needed to say something.
I dont know what is up lately with people in CTRA... But a vast majority thinks that they can wreck someone, spin someone or ram them off into the grass and then continue on their merry way like nothing happened. No sorry... not waiting for you to get back on the track and catch up.... well as it CLEARLY STATES IN THE RULES:
So if you wreck someone... is it really THAT hard to wait until this person gets back on the track or pits before continuing on??? Is it so hard to flash your lights at them or honk your horn to "signal" a "sorry"??? Is it so hard to press the hotkey for "Sorry"???
This is the general attitude that is received on almost all of the CTRA servers as of late. Now granted, there are very many of you out there who do not fall into this category... so this does not apply to you.
So in short... Stop being inconsiderate and selfish when on the CTRA servers. It's not going to kill you to wait for someone to get back on the track or simply say "sorry".
88 Fiero GT 5 speed w/5.7L LT1 V8 I never took it to the track, but I was confident that it was capable of low 13's or high 12's in the 1/4. Motor was completely stock except for custom headers and exhaust. Work was done by RaceTech Auto in Toronto back in 2001... God i miss that car....
For those of you who dont know what a fiero is... here's a link to a pic... http://www.murrayco.com/fiero/fiero_rear_qtr2.jpg (not my car, but same color and body style. I need to find my pics and scan them) And they did not come with a V8 stock.. They came with a tiny little 2.5L Inline 4 (95HP) or a 2.8L V6 (130hp). So you can see why i put the V8 in now can't you?
Hey Sam, i noticed when you click on a teams name in the "Top Teams" stat page you get the following error:
HALFORDS RACING TEAM, ORDERED BY POINT RANK
ADODB.Field error '800a0bcd' Either BOF or EOF is True, or the current record has been deleted. Requested operation requires a current record. /fromTeam.asp, line 117
the ADODB and /fromTeam.asp errors are in white text so you'll need to highlight all text on the page to see them..
