I still manage to do music while living with my girlfriend. I've got a band on the go at the moment and I also go busking with a couple of different guitarists. I try to play every day and although I do miss a few it's usually because all my other life stuff gets in the way, and by the time all that's done either I'm too tired or it's too late to start bashing out tunes on a double bass.
I don't really play computer games any more though. I'll still play one sometimes if I just want to relax but they are a bit of a waste of time really aren't they.
Yeah it was clearly over the line. How the official who was standing 2 metres away, straddling the goal line, staring STRAIGHT AT IT didn't notice I've no idea.
It's so weird watching RVP miss those volleys that have been his trademark all season, and then when he finally puts one away it's with his right foot. I still hope the Dutch get through although Denmark deserve it really.
Seems odd posting in here but my mum died last Wednesday. She suffered a brain haemorrhage while doing her grocery shopping around lunch time and died in hospital the same evening. Fortunately my sister was with her when she began to feel ill, and I and my partner Jane were also with her for the few hours before she died.
Naively I think we were expecting her to just 'slip away' peacefully in the end, but it couldn't be described in those terms at all. Very traumatic. Hopefully it was some comfort to my mum that we were there. I should add that all the staff at Pinderfields hospital who treated her were excellent, and she was treated with genuine kindness and dignity by everyone involved.
Met a bloke last night who had a sousaphone, who told me his mate is selling a sousaphone, and now I can't stop thinking about buying a sousaphone. It's an illness I swear.
Enjoy the group games, England fans, it's all you're getting. At least after this competition all the senior players will be jettisoned and hopefully the egos along with them, there are plenty of promising young players to mould into the next world cup squad.
Yeah I saw them in Leeds once, they had a touring member on keys who was the foxy one, I never looked twice at Lauren. These days I'd crawl over broken glass.
They're a talented band and they're really good live. Not my cup of tea at all but they are very good at it.
I don't understand why anyone would want to see a band in a stadium/arena though. Go to a live show and watch it on a screen? Might as well just get the DVD.
I've never met anyone who had a single car for their entire life. Also I would argue that my £425 Fiesta is probably not a symbol of all my achievements, but it is a symbol of my achievement of not giving a **** about what car I'm driving, because it's only going to be filled with mud and dog hair anyway.
From your reply can we assume you've met a lot of people from eastern Europe and many of them were neo-nazis?
I know you struggle to gauge this yourself so maybe you should listen to your respondents and concede that it's time for you to shut your stupid ****ing mouth now.
