Just questioning/thinking/ ( and honestly put, asking a favor )
Is it possible to have FZ50, but it's shell other way around?
You see, there may be people around who remember where I have driven FZ50 backwards. I still think I have a hotlap uploaded there for newest Blackwood. And as we have mods... well why not? Could be my ultimate vehicle to drive for it
Basically, there is required to switch front and headlights, as well as interior to be rotated 180 degrees ( and driver position as well ), while still maintaining drivetrain and steering untouched. To make things a bit more fair, it may need to be electrical motor, so accelerating would not be that slow, as it happens in current FZ50 with reverse gear.
I used to race backwards against other people in multiclass. To be honest, I was never really fast, but always into something new and to try out some interesting concepts. Either I am creating those, or I attempt others creations.
Backwards driving was enjoyable, but because rear lights could not be switched with front lights, it caused some confusion. Now we have mods system.
Is this possible? Could this be possible?
EDIT: Ahh, here's the replay.

Reason : Found Replay
Here's the setup for Westhill "Allrounder". Basically for layout racing which does not involve jumps or sliding areas. Top Speed is also kept excellent, but not for flat out racing.
EDIT: Can roll on certain corners... and yes, can make epic 2 wheel action. Actually, for real, you can do some INSANE 2 wheel action, trust me!
Car's aerodynamics kinda look... a bit ugly. Can highly compensate if those can also be colored
Rear lights are not working correctly by pressing 3. Only right side turns on, but looks more like right-side never turns on correctly, while left side is always on.
It is faster than GTR, but it is probably very good competitor for LSV 12 GTR, so power should be ok.
But I still made few mistakes there. Therefore it can't be really call as an epic/insane.
I should had practice a bit and make proper lap and then save a replay. But then again, I was never expecting someone, well, you, rockclan in this case, is going to make an youtube video from replay with in-car view, where you can definitely see sloppy and harsh steering wheel action and other phenomenal issues, which would influence the real hardcore sim racers calling this as a cheap butt licking or something sort of satanic shit.
But then again, I don't personally really care, but I was thinking this from your perspective. I don't know your fanbase/followers/people you know, but if there are any mentioned hc dudes/gals, they roast you up.
But in other hand... you should not care either. It is just LFS with random idea of longest layout track in fictional area which just happens to contain some roads to race with.
But yeah, as I mentioned, this is far from amazing/epic/insane hotlap, but I never thought it was that poor. The original idea of the replay was just demonstration of how fast that car can go and ultimately did beat BMW Sauber F1.06 car due more steering angle and so on...
...and on top of that, that car has no longer epic 900bhp with fantastic top speed of over 550km/h, because just random dudes started to complain it is not realistic.
I say that vehicle was never realistic. Seems to be trend of this so-called pro-level activity thought inside different minds of people, yet only dozen of them actually gains money of it.
Bah... Tell to LFS Devs that I want more ramp objects so I can play with my own fantasy world. ( EDIT: Or I just make them with mods... have to learn more of it first tho )
In any case, thanks, I appreciate it, but... ugh... lol... beer ---> Virtual Alocholic
Alright, just first of all, I may have something to recall about this has been discussed before with some valid arguments.
But as what we can have now, this is really, really really invalid and should now really be fixed. Just in case LFS gets developed in many aspects... you get it.
In other words, please update, in terms of facts and for archiving in future.
This car/mod/feature/accessibility is not compatible with 0.6M version at all. ( Yet alone setup itself, heh... )
I agree on both sides. i have not followed of how UI of this will work in practice, but there should be some kind of "live bar" of what is currently happening in Community.
Hm... This would had been excellent since five to six years ago. Earlier than that didn't matter, because times were a bit different and people were more active. Then there was a drop-out with decreasing community, only core people stayed, while brand new people actually wanted to participate into something, regardless of serious or not.
And one of the major factor roles in LFS is there has been ( and still would be ) almost any kind of racing. From Destruction Derby to 24h race. From D1GP Drifting to Ultimate speed battles.
Heck, even some kind of minigames were then, although they were mainly public... but could had been used as proper public event... *sigh*... Sumo...ahhh...
Ok, so what my point is that this improvement for scheduled events... technically speaking it may not be needed to only limit there. But I guess that is whole another story.
EDIT: Yeah I went a bit too off, thinking out of the box... my bad.
I am not happy this with faster cars on this. I will make an alternative version of this one. Mainly changes on Turn 6 and the DropOut. Ohterwise it will remain same.
But now, time to make a shift.
EDIT: Just in case wondering, current version will be kept in here, just alt version will also be released here.
Of course, I had to take design error right from the start, already planted quite everything... "everything" and starting position was never set into center.
Can't make tightening kind of curve, unless I take little straight gap and then start manouvering into kind of one.
sinanjus corners will be ahead and will act as T1-T2
EDIT: Well... due object limit, I had to cut weirdly the objects. Now T1 is actually hard kink, while T2 is actual hairpin.
EDIT2: No chance to make full amount of 24 meter wide track. Here it is narrowed to 16 meters. It's only on the bridge section and the kink ( with air-time small jump ahead )
