i have a blue backlit one, with black lettering on my track bike. it would be a novel touch, but not really needed, lol

im like Rappa Z, i will run a max of 20fps during a race, even if im on the track all by myself. i find it hard to battle for position cause anytime i get close, the track is like a jigsaw....you gotta put the pieces together and guess the rest.

definatly, atm events run in crc have a penalty for crossing the line on pit exit, and we try and edit the tracks so this isnt possible. but you can only govern things so far, so a definitive law would be great, and some longer/wider pit exits maybe for certain tracks. i like the ky national rev pit exit.

are you on wheel, mouse, keyboard?? alot depends on what your on.

screw driving it in a sim, ill just book a fri and mon off work and go down myself

in a helmet, i hardly see any of the lid...though i spose thats a sign of a good helmet.

it does seem to be a trend. unless you own a scooby, or a ferrari, or whatever car you have has over 400hp, then you get the piss taken.

im alright though, as i ride a bike, and dont even have a car licnece

but i do understand the posters point, once you buy a certain car at a certain age, your automatically pigeon holed.

tbh, with some of the comments about comparing, yes, there will be people saying(if we get the ring) that its crap, and how come i can go 20-30sec faster in a car on lfs, as opposed to a similar car in rl, well, you also have to factor in the armco in rl. in a gme, you have no fear, but, and back me up anyone who has also been to the ring, its scary as hell, thinking that one patch of oil from a morning session could effectivle kill you, cause it may have gone un noticed, or whatever.

hmmm, in the nurburgring museum, there is a z4 that is hooked up to a game system, playing some random touring car game. the pedals work(bar clutch, its auto) as does the wheel, maybe they will change it for lfs at some point...will make more of a reason to go out to the ring even more times in a year.

well, firstly, about the polyphony people, yea, they have 100+ people working on the tracks, cars, etc. lfs has 3...and managed to kick gt's ass too

now, onto the ring. i think there are some good thing and bad things about having it in lfs.
most people know the good parts, so ill point out the bad
although it will be fun, the length will get tiresome wuick. you wont have 600hp porsche's roaring past you, there wont be the thrill of the armco right next to you. the servers will never complete a lap unless it orginised events, cause the race will always be restarted.

im all for it, in some ways, but one fo the reasons i love lfs, is the uniqueness. the fictional tracks that we all love. you cant compare anything to anything else in rl. i really like that. adding real tracks will make it all the more complicated i think.
maybe add a new track, and maybe a few new configs, and for tracks, i thnik thatll do.

the mrt is slow enough, if not, the fox is fine. both cars will do me just fine, and thats that.

hopped about. tried everything. found out quickly that i find the oval in anything very boring. and more recently, found out that i love the mrt/fox, and hopefully with the new patch, ill be able to handle the fz5(love porsche's

the mrt doesnt really lock up under heavy downshifting, but the fox does, and its dam anoying.

slipper clutch for at least the fox. you would thought it being a new race car, they would employ this technology. hell, some of the road legal thou cc bikes have slippers.

i raced a few times with ya, and i can say...yes they were that bad. lets hope that its a 1 off
