No - do not have any software for doing a skin other than paint (comes with windows). That's the main reason I have been so bad at making any skins myself.
The one I have for the FOX was made for me, based on a rubbish one that I made with paint.
Hi guys - OK this is a BIG ask and I can only hope someone takes pity on me. I am looking for someone to make a few skins for me based on the attached one I have for the FOX.
I would really love it if I could get the following cars
UF1 XFG GTR and XFR ( like I say a big ask)
but any one of them is fine
All I can say is that any and all efforts I have made at skinning have been miserable and indeed the one I have attached here was provided for me (based on a poor effort of mine) by SMAX (so one again an official thanks to SMAX)
About all I can offer in return is my gratitude and a recognition of the skin maker on my website. I did post this under "render my skin" and reckon that was the wrong place to put it - so apologies for that. Any how enough groveling and apologizing - I leave it to you guys and await uptake by some kind member.
OK guys - this is a big ask and it might not be the correct place to make this request, or it might not be polite to even ask- but here goes.
I am looking (no begging), for someone to make me a few skins based on the one I already have for the BF1 and is attached here.
I am particularly looking for any or all of the following cars
UF1 XFG GTR XFR
however any and or all cars all are most welcome.
About all I can provide in return is my gratitude and the fact that I will post them on my website with an acknowledgment
I tried in the past but failed miserably and then lost about all of my miserable efforts when my old PC crashed.
So if anyone is generous enough I would be very grateful.
Hi guys
Wonder if you can help.
I have set up a game called Van's place and was wonderignn if it can be seen. If you have a minute can U look and join in for a minute so that I can see it is working (or not)
It's WELL worth it I can assure you of that. A wheel would also so be a sound investment making LFS all the more enjoyable, however, many drivers do use keyboard and/or mouse
OK folks here's anither Irish racer - OK so I don't get on line that often these days as I have been busy. But I'm proud to be Irish and also proud of the fact that I have discovered this great sim.
While the subject mater may have been discussed before, and to some extent the issue therefore a little frustrating, the issue I have with it it that someone could possible thing that LFS is not worth the small amount that we pay for it.
If someone can not pay for the game at this price, what the heck are they shelling out their money on. Are they as miserable with all their other spending/ outlays or what?
While I agree and indeed understand your point about AI drivers I still say why bother with them at all - go on line where the real driving is and the the AI's drive away on their own.
But like I say you are right and it would be "nice" if fixed
For any decent racer what is the problem if per chance they do not win a race or two.
Experienced drivers need to provide good example to any new people by NOT deliberately bumping. Otherwise where does it end - where does one draw the line.illepall
If a new driver IS blocking all over the place let him / her know the error of his / her ways and if necessary ban them from the server (having of course advised him of the etiquette of LFS and the new to let drivers pass on the blue flag and given them a chance to resolve their bad driving).
That way they get to know the ropes and understand that good driving is required at all times.
No problem guys - it will be done when it's done and in the meantime I and many many more will be glad to wait. Let's face it - as the sim stands now I feel great about recommending it to others out there who are not as fortunate as I and have not stumbled across it as yet. Anyone I have mentioned the sim to has been more than happy with it - not one single complaint.
Like many out there I can say that is is nice to be in contact with the developers. Where else would you get that kind of contact Kids are more than important - they are everything, so don't miss out on that for one bit. All us LFS racers are watching our kid (LFS the sim), grow up as well, and she is turning out to be one real beauty
OK before I start let me say that everyone is entitled to their view and indeed the right to express it. So I have no problems with any of the above as such
However, for me the BIG thing about LFS is that is has been designed to be the best simulator out there – and for me despite the fact that it is not “finished” it has achieved that objective to a high level.
Consequently why the need to ANY option other than to take you out of the race and put you in the pits. From there you should have to start at the back of the running. This ability to go back out on the track is about the only single concession that one should get as it saves you having to hang around for a new race to start.
Short races give you little chance to redeem the position
Longer races – ok it’s hard but it can be done (depending on when you crash)
All comments be they positive or negative are valid regardless of whether one agree or not.
Comments on the site or the content of the site is missing the point I am trying to make.
So to reiterate.
LFS is a FANTASTIC SIM – and as far as I am concerned top of the pile
Any advertisement / promotion of LFS no matter where is a good thing.
The developers of LFS need all the promotion they can get
Al I am setting out to do is get LFS mentioned in yet another location so as it is seen by people who may not otherwise know of it.
That way LFS gets another convert – cause as I said above – one only has to see the game in demo mode to be convinced of it’s merit.
So like I say – ANYWHERE you see ANY CAR racing topics / ratings that do not mention LFS. DO everything you can to get LFS in the spotlight
We are now moving up the charts and it has even provoked another thread
All I wanted to do was get LFS mentioned / publicised out there.
IT DESERVES it even if the place it is listed is not considered by all to be the best in the bunch.
ANY advertising for LFS is GOOD
Even if it only means that one person happens across it and goes have a look at the sim just because he / she sees it listed – that a job well done
Having it listed / publicises is the key – and the more the better
The developers deserve the extra revenue that new licence holders will bring in and let’s face it one good look at it and the more discerning among the masses will make the purchase.
This is NOT (in my opinion) wasting forum time and or space – it is getting LFS out to the masses where it belongs. Are ya with me guys / gals ?
