And have you seen his car? It is TEH SEX!

An interesting read. Eddie Gossage tells it exactly how he sees it I tell you.

On breaking up the pack though, I don't see it as possible really without adding bumps on the track somehow. Let them tandem bump draft.. that'll do the trick (entirely kidding)

I hope the new car is as safe as they claim it to be.
Texas won't be boycott, you do not see 'pack racing' there.

Not like NASCAR at 'Dega or Daytona, but they do have couple car breakaways which kind of draft together. That won't change there.

there is no real pack racing in texas... especially if you compare these pictures to those from Las Vegas, you can see that the cars are moving in relation to each other while in Las Vegas the cars had trouble to break away, and when they did, cars behind could use that "gap" much easier. If we compare just the state of the last year's racing on lap 10 in Race 1 at Texas and at Vegas, you can see that in Texas the field is streched out, there were only two cars running side by side. In Vegas however, everyone behind P4 was having someone else aside of him/her.
I viewed those videos actually before I posted. Texas isn't "pack racing" via the Las Vegas definition, but it still is pack racing in my opinion. Texas looks like a little tamer version of the old Daytona before it was repaved. It's still a pack, it's just a bunch of small packs. Obviously less dangerous, but just the speeds are dangerous.

I suppose it's not much more dangerous that way then alone. Either way you're going 215+ MPH in a light weight open wheel vehicle.
The field is likely going to be even more spread out this year to unfamilarity with the chassis as well.

And different engines will also give a different power output

You got to admitt guys, indy seems to have gone from its lowest point ever to being one of the most awaited seasons ever.
Isn't shy to step on it quick that's for sure.

neat
That looks pretty badass.
Similar to how they cut the rear spoiler for the Cup cars on superspeedways. Hopefully it doesn't cause any issues.
dem green tires
They should glow in the dark.
