I'm sorry, but the only ball Di Maria didn't waste was the goal, and statistically I might not even be kidding here. He did absolutely everything wrong in today's match except the goal. I think he lost possession 50+ times in the full match, which is extraordinarily bad.
You do realise that during that one counter in the first half, Robben got tagged not just once, but twice in the box?
I feel for the Mexican fans, really do. That's one terrible way of losing (and arguably totally undeserved), but don't talk about injustice when it comes to penalties.
Itt: people pretend the hosts of Top Gear are raging racists intent on the global genocide of all inferior races, instead of a bunch of middle-aged men with a lot of self-mockery and the occasional politically-incorrect joke thrown in.
I thought every group of friends (or pretend-friends, in this case? Who cares) spent at least a fraction of their time together laying down crappy jokes. Yes -- also 'racist' jokes.
It's like we've all forgotten what proper racism is and are looking for something to protest against. Real racism is not a subtle half-joke about an Asian on a bridge - but a bit more like hanging people from trees, dragging them behind a horse, taking away freedom and basic human rights solely om the basis of the colour of ones skin. That sort of thing.
What I am saying is... y'all are getting trolled by Top Gear.
We have a ton of national competition with several commercial skating teams. Afaik no other country has commercialised the sport to this level, so it's very popular for young athletes, who generally get excellent support and world-class training. That and the aforementioned cultural aspects of course! All this means there's a huge pool of potential winners.
Nah. At least I tried that with the summer set, and demand dropped quite a bit since the sale.
It's worth noting that on crafting the badge you get a chance at some pretty rare drops though. I sold all my badges so far, but being a gambler-type I would have kept them all in retrospect and craft the badge for a shot at some rare €100 item :>
Chile is quite a dangerous outsider for the 2nd spot in group B. Spain and the Netherlands could both be out on their asses. Especially if Spain plays as poorly as they did in the group phase 4 years ago.
PES is so terribly unpolished that I honestly can't believe it's a 'modern' title. It might be a decent game at its core, but at this point it's so far behind FIFA in terms of production value that it won't be able to grow a fanbase beyond the regulars anymore.
It might just be me, but it seems quite hard to tell the difference between the new gen (Xbox One, PS4) and old gen versions of this year's release. So the new generations are getting the ignite engine, which gives greater fidelity in animations and physics (ball movement through the air, more than 2 players going for the ball in headers) more intelligent AI and realistic crowds...
But all the feature pages on EA's site also credit the old generations with these features.
... so what exactly are PC/Xbox360/PS3 players missing out on?
Tomato, tomahto. I guess I didn't notice that humidity doesn't have a linear connection to fog, although it is the same slider. My bad then.
There are still weather conditions which have a profound effect on grip and engine performance though. It's a (small) step towards something of dynamic day/night transitions with the resulting weather changes, so all good in my book.
The Lotus I don't care much for. I thought I might, but it's a little too much for my taste. I have no doubt that Jim Clark was a genius, but then so was Chapman. The car I'm driving in the sim wasn't designed by a genius however, but by a madman. Anyone who drove it would have been bonkers as well, because a car that starts to wander around on a perfectly straight track above 200kph but still has lots more speed to gain... well I'm not sure anyone from the era would have survived even a single race weekend.
I get the feeling that the success of the Lotus on iRacing is based more on the comparison to GPL, which was of course ridiculously difficult. People are reminded of that difficulty and rejoice in the fact that they can finally spin out in the middle of a straight, over a tiny bump, in top gear again. I'm just not so sure about the car yet, but that might be because the whole era falls completely out of my scope of understanding despite having read books, seen documentaries, etc.
We'll see if it holds true in a next iteration of the tyre model. The Skippy was crazy intense for the better part of 5 years, and the last tyre model dumbed it down to a mere shade of its former craziness.
When was the last time a muslim committed a mass murder in the USA?
When was the last time a white male committed a mass murder in the USA?
You're willing to ignore the dozens of cases where a white man (or men) jump into a school and start going on a kill frenzy, but you can't ignore two idiots in a different country and still manage to state your 'culture' is so vastly superior and less violent?
So are you saying there are relatively more top-class drivers in LFS? If so you didn't really word it properly.
Also, who cares? If I make a sim and it gets three active drivers, who all happen to be the best in the world, does that make my sim the most competitive? Relatively more skilled drivers =/= the most competitive sim.
iRacing has 40-50 drivers who can drive the absolute pants off of any car on the road side of things, and the level of competition is increasing at the top: some of the drivers which were previously considered to be top-10 runners now have to fight to even make it to the starting grid of a WDC race.
That's not possible in LFS, ergo the level of competition is higher in iRacing and top drivers will find a tougher challenger there.
