Actually, the season schedule is decided on by the members not the iracing staff. in addition to drive, say the new BMW in the GT3 series, you don't need to buy that car to compete. You can just use either of the other two cars in the series instead.
For the amount we pay it's pretty good! Maybe if in other sims where you rent your own servers, if more people contributed it would be cheaper for all but realistically, at least iRacing has got those that never do contribute to server costs on LFS, rF etc to pay up toward server costs by default
Name me another game either racing or FPS where you can have people play from anywhere in the World, like iRacing does, and there is the same minimal lag.
yup, I agree Phil. I'd like to know more about the multiplayer aspect and how well AC works with lag compared to the problems of netkar. Also how will the software work for servers, setting them up and managing them.
I don't believe since the so called 2.0 NTM came out that they've said that any car has tyre wear, have they Phil? Could be wrong but didn't think so. They've always said lack of grip comes from the tyre temps only.... never due to less rubber left on the tyre..... That's promising to actually have some form of wear like there was in the NTM 1.0
