Yeah i have the first image, but once I click okay I just see the regular video settings screen after. I do not receive a second dialog. I'll make a quick video of it when i get home if it helps.
First time trying the patch. Let it install, switched to 3d in the settings and selected the oculus rift as per the first post. However, I never see a button to exit lfs, just the usual Back button from the options menu.
When i do exit LFS the normal way, I cant seem to restart it until i delete cfg.txt.
Don't know what's with all the hate. Just be patient. I'd rather have them take time, and get it done right, rather than have something a bit iffy released sooner.
I used to do the XRG/XFG races on CTRA before it closed down. What are some good servers that are similar in that regard? Something where a newbie can get comfortable, and have a bit of a challenge.
Been doing some drifting lately, my first lap or two (depends on track size) goes decently well, but once my tires start to get that yellow brown to red, I just spin out soo easily. Any recommendations for not epic failing on hot tires?
Yeah tweak only applies to the current session of the game.
Anyone have an idea why i get that dumb error when trying to use the slicks? I do have .net 3.5 from visual studio. I actually tried to download and install the separate one just in case. It wouldnt let me install it though.
Ah thank you. Finally tried the slicks, but i get that error the person listed on the first page. I have .net for sure, as I have visual studio 2008 installed, and I see 3.5 in my program list.
Heys. I ran the exe, and have changed some nums in tweak for the XRG, click apply. Its the exact same. I typed /insim 29999, but still nothing. Ideas any1?
I realized now I have create a host, which i did. I tried the fol:
create local host, set an admin pw
type /insim 29999
launch lfs tweak.
I do find that some of the rwd cars, like the lx4/6 and the fzr, spin out easily the second you graze the grass with a rear tire. I guess cause one end you get grip, the other you dont.
I dont think you realize how much different that separates LFS from NFS. Being how the cars handle, is pretty much the core of the game, as we are interacting with the cars :P. My brother read a review on racing games. GT5 Prologue got a 7/10 on physics, LFS got 8/10.
The 2 feet distance is for keeping the sub away from my computer, as it has a giant magnet inside it. If I were to move that behind my pedals (it may fit) it would break that distance.
Thanks for the suggestions, ill see if I can get some older textbooks behind it or something.
Hello fellow racers. I have a g25, which I love. However I find my pedals are sliding a bit while playing, mainly the left side, as I am on and off it so much with clutching. The grip spikes work decently when pushing in the center, but pushing the pedals a bit to the left it slides (it wont slide to the right has i have a 40lb sub sitting there).
Any suggestions to how i can get it to stop moving? I would put the sub behind it, but theres not enough room, and that would bring it closer to my computer case, which logitech recommends it being atleast 2' away.
i killed my shifter after a year or so of owning it. I think I was too hard on it sometimes however. I could have gotten it replaced, but i broke warranty by opening it up. Everything else works very well, I now use an act-labs shifter with it that, which is quite nice.
The funny thing is, I provide technical support, and see this kinda thing all the time, and double check with users for it. Guess I just had a brain lapse.
got myself the act labs rs shifter, however im having trouble configuring it in LFS. I have the shifter utility running. Ive tried both direct and generic modes, yet the config doesnt pick up the shifts when i move the lever into position. At the top, LFS says 2 controllers detected. Ive tried configuring to both keyboard and controller buttons. No luck.
Im currently using setups from setup grid. They work pretty well for the most part. Which track are ya referring to by lota? I usually apologize for one, and im sorry that I did not
