i haven't played this game for years now. I regularly open it in the hope that there will a good server to join but all i see is drift and cargame servers with really bad pings. I really miss the old days when there was always a few local servers running with actual racing, none of this drift or cargame crap.
Maybe a new car and/or track would help revitalize this game and help get it back to what it was.
It really is ridiculous that its gone on this long without a release after being told the scirroco was about to be released

the performance in this is very disappointing, i dont even want to play until its fixed.
Another problem ive found is the flight control movements aren't smooth, they seem to jump in steps as you slowly move the controller, which makes these planes even harder to fly because you cant make small enough control inputs.
Hope all this is fixed because so far, apart from the awesome gfx, this is a step backwards from the older il2 version.

i havent really played lfs for more than a year now, not because i dont want to but because the only servers to choose from whenever i look are either drag, cruise, drift and a few racing servers all set to the same car, usually xrf/xrg or the fbm. And the rank thing just makes it harder to join in on the fun.

just put 3.5 on and i noticed quite a speed increase with pages loading, almost instant now instead of taking a few seconds, sometimes more.

Arma was one of the best games ive played and defintely the most fun ive ever had online. Nothing beats having a team of 20 to 50 guys split into squads of 4 or 5 and everyone following a chain of command to complete an objective. It makes most online fps's look almost pathetic.

considering how much of a f#$% up vista was, they should sell this a bit cheaper after so many people bought vista and were dissapointed with it. This is the first windows i would consider buying since it seems to work so well so far, but at that price i dont think so.

i hate autos (even though i own one). Half the fun of driving is changing gears, choosing gear, rev matching, etc.

ive got too many useful jailbroken apps to even want to consider updating. I had a play of os3 on my brothers iphone and there was nothing really useful that either i need, or i cant already do with jailbreaked firware.

the sound in the video is off a CD that comes with a book called "Into The Red", definitely worth purchasing just for the CD full of high quality car recordings. I love the sound of it opening up on the straights.

i haven't touched lfs for months now, partly because i'm sick of the current content, but mainly because of the lack of decent servers/combos. Most of the highly populated servers i see are drift or cruise. Its almost impossible to find a race server with turbo/fxo/rb4 or fz50/lx/rac with even just a few people.

i think this idea kinda got done but anyhoo. here it is.

i hate to say it, but fallout 3. I loved it but got over it so quickly, it didnt keep me interested enough to play it 50 times over like fallout 1 and 2 did. It almost felt like a really well done mod for oblivion. Not that i dont like it, but it got a lot of game of the year awards i think (or came close) and very high review scores. I dont think it lived up to the hype and expectation.

This mod is sweet, i've been playing it a lot more than anything else lately. Theres just so many different combinations of really good cars and tracks. Finally a decent game with an e30 M3 And the 911 turbo is pretty damn fun. But having the online stuff makes it a hell of a lot more fun and interesting. The guys from SRT have been hosting some servers and i've had a few races with them. I think i only managed beat them on 1 of the Australian tracks lol.

im sure you could use PPjoy and/or dxtweak to get the result you need.

after my own personal experiences and watching others, i would suggest just getting a decent brand of stereo headphones, so that you're paying for quality, not extra speakers that you dont really need. Ive seen a few $150 5.1 sets fall apart after about 12 months, that were supposedly high quality (not sure the brand) Ive had good experience with sennheisers.

funnily enough i've broken some pb's i thought were unbeatable while i was high, and i still cant break them. So if anything, it enhances my driving skills

it doesnt matter what time of year it is, we still need an excuse for everyone to spend $h**loads of money on stuff we dont really need.
