lol I looked up all these kinds of serial connectors, but I couldn't find one with a good enough illustration of one that matches these. Thanks.
Make a G27 shifter a stand alone device?

I've recently come across a G27 shifter in great condition, but of course, I do not have a wheel, and cannot get one for the time being, nor do I want one if there is no sequential stick option.

My original purpose for buying it was to make it a stand alone device either with a Bodnar box/cable, or splicing in a USB plug if possible. I now know that using a Bodnar box/cable is not possible out right as the plug on the ends of them are the same end.

Is there any way I can splice a USB plug onto it? I don't know anything about cables or wires, and am not willing to do anything unless I know I can achieve my goal first.

If splicing a USB plug isn't possible, would it be possible to put on a plug that matches the G25/G27 pedals? There are the same number of pins and I imagine it uses the same transfer method.

And one final question. I heard that the G25 and G27 shifters use either potentiometers, or axis (I forgot which) and there for need something like FFShifter to make it possible to use without the wheel. Anyone know if this is true?

Thanks for the read.

Honestly, it sounds to me like Apple have started to run out of fresh ideas, and are now starting to work on making their massively accepted phone a bit better by trying to incorporate ideas from other products.

As was said before, a 5 MP cam, LED flash, Multitasking, it's all been done before. I think Apple has studied a bit on it and will try to make it a bit more user friendly and operate with less errors. Hell, if my cam doesn't work, it won't work until I restart my phone...

This would be the iPhone that I would love to get, but ATT Wireless is kinda spotty around my area. I guess I'll see what happens when my existing contract ends depending on where I'm living.

My Xbox moves from my room to the living room all the time since my roommate's a pain in the ass about it. Almost all the time it has a disc in it, but it always turned off (at least it better be) when being moved. I take great care of my games and have not found any scratches on them yet.

Not sure what to say except try taking it to a game rental store and see if they can send in your game with their next batch to get scratches removed.

As far as noises, I do believe the Xbox is just a hell of a noisy beast. I actually folded up an area rug and put the Xbox on top of it to reduce vibrations from the disc spinning before I learned how to install them.

If you install the game, the disc will spin for a short time while starting up, then goes quite for the rest of the time you're playing.

YouTube suggested this one to me. I think it's the only suggestion so far that has actually been good.

They do listen to their members though. Took a matter of a day or 2 to revamp the qualifying system for the Indy 500 after listening to concerned members.

Also, that last botched update was replaced so fast I didn't even have a chance to download the botched update since so many pointed out the flaws so quickly.

How is it so hard to understand the fact that if in both scenarios you start out at that speed with the same amount of fuel, in scenario 2, you will need to have the car push harder through the air, (it has more wind resistance) there for will consume a bit more fuel to maintain that speed at that RPM?

The only possible way they could use the same amount of fuel for both scenarios is if they were on a dyno of some sort, or you change a lot of other factors like air and engine temp., air density, humidity, fuel temp, oil temp, and other things like that IMO.

I packed a race with every car at Black wood, the put ramps at the end of the longest straight spanning the entire length, and sat under it.

It was kinda cool just to sit there.

I have it installed, but haven't flown in a while. My 8 year old joystick doesn't work too well anymore, and I'm having trouble keeping my bills paid along with my virtual racing endeavors.

I tried RedBull Air Races once. I couldn't control it past the first gate. The canyon race was a different story though.

I used my Mosport setup and was able to keep it on track once I re-learned the track a lil.

The Mazda's are a hell of a lot of fun. The only thing holding me back from competing in them this week is the fact that I don't know the track, and I'm having much more success and fun in the Prototype Challenge.

Won my debut Prototype split last night by over 40 seconds. I'm hoping next time it won't be split so we have more drivers to contend with.

Listening to Radio Le Mans when it came back onto track, one commentator took notice that there were 2 different women on the car taking the others by surprise that he'd noticed.

I really liked my partial season in the Mazda. I wouldn't mind coming back to them on the off days for the prototype challenge I guess. I can't handle the Vettes at Laguna Seca without some setup help.

I bought the Jetta but have only really done time trials with it while in that class. I can't find any races because I'm online so late at night and it was almost exclusively during the week.

Honestly, now all I want to do is go online and screw around with the portal gun tossing a companion cube at someone from across the map, or maybe see who can keep one at terminal velocity longer...

Thank you!! Looks like I missed some good coverage time though. They have a static shot of the cars coming into turn 1 that's not moving right now. Oh well. Thanks again for the hint!

I was wrong... How dare they play Lady Gaga... I feel ill...

A lot of higher class drivers are driving the Solstice these days though. I was class D having some great battles with class B drivers a month ago. Great fun to be had!

that's the official internationally accesable (but German) livestream by wige media: switch off sound and listen to radio lemans and it is just perfect!

Holy crap... This link is buffering like hell... Any lower bit rate streams? Can't catch half of the massive fire right now because the damn thing keeps pausing to buffer!
