SpeedSims league - got me over here as the Nascar Heat league decided to try LFS out. I was horrible, driving with automatic. I'm still bad, but at least now I can keep pace with the mid pack.
just putting it out there, I tried trinus and it was difficult to use. iVRY was very easy to use (works with steam VR though). Even works wired, with an iPhone.
Strongly disagree. I raced here for many years and the reason I no longer do is that the sim has fallen behind in number of tracks. The most fun to be had was from series like MiniFBM and GT World Series. We even tried at one point to make a modded WRX car out of the UFR/XFR and run on layouts, but that was not easy. The point is there are plenty of things to do, but they are not easy. So people will want to use the base content. Until they get bored, then they will either adapt or drift away. You cannot expect the average person to adapt to have new content when there are other games out there with much more content, and newer features. I would still participate here in NDR if there was an endurance series, but other than that - no interest.. it gets boring.
Truthfully there needs to be the release of 4-5 new tracks, all at once, and a few new cars to really capture people. Maybe some technical improvements too if possible to catch up.
watching my teammates with the GT World Series' GT2 class over Team Vires by making a strategy call to slow down from the lead so we could box in and take the 6 hour stage win in the 24 hour race, thus giving us the 1.5 point advantage we needed to take the championship. Also, watching both of the LLM cars collide with eachother and both flip at south city. Last, but not least, banging doors with Jarl Teien for the Kyoto 250 finish.
Actually... can we just do another Kyoto 250? Or a GT2 endurance race?
In case you didn't know, iRacing just released rallycross. They released it with the beetle, and 3 free rallycross layouts. There are 2 other layouts that are included with the Lucas Oil and Iowa oval tracks when purchased.
If you want to try it out for cheap and have some fun, grab one of the subscription plans and try the new rallycross out at minimum expense.
Well known issue. On kyoto 500 qualifying and kyoto 250 qualifying, drivers would try to time their fuel perfectly because right before the line they get a slight speed boost. This lagging also appeared there. User is not cheating. @dekojester and @flame_cze can confirm.
