People have different "lore names" in mind

It's difficult to gather people and brainstorming about lore names and logo that would be used together, as people tends to have their ideals, even with the same brand, they dont usually make changes that differentiate their model (i.e. M4 G82 that have lots of clone), some of them having the same power and weight figures, only different in how it drives

But making search for brands based on mods description, open the vulnerability being searched by manufacturer, thus Porsche and GTA5 mods case would potentially repeat in LFS here

speaking of these reports, Scawen, I wonder if you ever set a deadline about when this massive overhaul being released, I mean, people with deadlines sometimes doing more than what he's capable to, just wonder if that might also applies to you, or even made you overwhelmed with it instead Big grin

I do hope multi-threaded process in this new DX11 system would solve strange stuttering problems whenever somebody left the pits, spectated, pitted, joined and disconnected

The symptomps quite unpredictable, sometimes it's fine with all drivers on grid, while it's sometimes occurs severely when just 5-6 drivers on grid

now that's the unusual findings

so far all of my LOD2 are mostly like this, and this is so far just fine, when you pointed it out, now that weird, especially looking at how I made LOD2 so far

so I've been driving this lately on Just A Ride server, I may point some things that might be a note for you of this mod:

-the engine sound too muted, I know this is street legal car, but compared to skids and wind sound, it's felt like the engine sounds that almost cant be heared, so I need to crank up my headset volume more. Maybe if you could also lower skids and wind sound, it would be more sensible, otherwise, keeping the engine sounds a little louder, but add more cockpit muffling will do

-I've notice it now with my G29, that the brake pressure way too high for a street car, shouldve lowered a liiiittle bit up until the brake pressed hard

-I've noticed too the car are having torque-steering, that's why TC always cut off even not on very deep angle steering, you may want to retune the stock suspension setup so it's not torque-steering when driving hard, so less TC intervention, and make the car more fun

that's all so far from me, it's great to drive, but still need some tweaks to drive it hard Big grin

hello again, this time I made a drift car that had been dusted on my notepad, awaiting to be made from 2022

luckily I've got the most realistic (in my eyes) shape of E30 instead of Rubie's one (private derivatives, sorry Rubie Frown ), that finally made by someone here
Bavaria C30 Turbo

My references was this Falken M3 E30 that using Rieger Genesis Bodykit (which I think no one ever made it yet to LFS) but probably not all-original Rieger kit, because no Testarossa-style side skirt on the door

finally the most anticipated, Mitsu FTO !!!

unfortunately, the screenshot order kinda messed because LFS website cant flawlessly upload more than 3MB files, quite unfortunate, but here's it

the process was the same like the Celica, but this car are based from my RB4 Supertourer, but since I'm not satisfied with shape-shifting, I decided to make it again from scratch

now are the time were Celica ST205 and Mitsu FTO are being questioned

starts from Celica ST205, initially I'm started from RB4, as you can see, but later I think, if I ever work from RB4, then it wont ever be accurate since RB4 are a lore car which subliminate Supra and Celica

soooooo by that, I think I'd better started of from a completely new model

Oh btw, I'm doing it in LFSE, tbh because I've got some anxiety back then, and to be fair, stitching point over point in LFSE are not efficient, but for me, it's kinda stress relief, because when I'm stitching the model, it's kinda rewiring my brain to think clearer

unfortunately, when I'm doing 3D model, as my ADHD kicked in, there's not much progression that I could capture because I'm actually start working on it, but hopes it clarifies if the model were scratch made in LFSE as I'm stated

moving on to the next car in the JGT series that I've made,

next one are Roadster JGT, it's a Miata NA that had excessive tuning, which also LucasMods previously made for Assetto Corsa

again for what's JGT cars that ever exists were Mr.S request, so yeah, I made this because he wanted to

the hardest parts of this, because the info that most likely shown are from Gran Turismo, a 13B Rotary with Turbo, producing 300hp and revs at 8000rpm

luckily, there's an video that shows me exact specs of this weird ahh looking car



anyway as for the 3D model, I've mentioned I'm started not from blueprint, but rather from this one https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/mazda-miata-mx-5-na-d51fcd44b74f4daf8012c41e0400c041 , you could call it retopo, but I would rather say this is completely scratch made because all non-existent parts are made by me

anyway sorry for too few images, when I'm go hyperfocused (yes I got ADHD but not so severe, so I could do daily task function), I kinda forgot to make a screenshot or just press Ctrl+S for the screenshot

so, after lots of discussions with moderator, they said I need to make a development thread (or more likely a post where the work in progress is placed as a proof of authenticity)

I'll start with Ferra JGT - Team Gainer Ferrari F355 JGTC GT300


started from blueprint which I actively import-export from and to LFSE, to get the exact Measurement (thanks to LFSE they could count tyre size, wheelsize and wheeltrack)

initially it's from another work outside of LFSE, but when it almost finished, the requestor was ghosting me, put this to abandoned project within my arsenal of 3D stuff

and funny things, Mr. S (who I had dealing with him with his bad attitude towards me), see this and request me to include this car to the 8 of GT300 cars (which is why it shows on Vol 2), and since he previously paid me a semi-commission (which recently I had returned the total amount to this jerk to end the contracts with him), that's why I convert it from stock F355 to GT300 version one

the challenges are to make this mid-engine turns good, takes me a about 3 months just to re-test how the handling so far (even it's not perfect, atleast it could be driven properly)

the only things that hold me to vote this, is the sound

tbf, when the engine sound are cranked more than 1.5 value, it makes the sound too cliping, quite uneasy to hear the engine sound, maybe if you could fix or reduce the clipping sounds, it would be great

To be fair, this is by far the most difficult handling setup I ever done, expect when my partner been free from his duty and working for the handling of this beauty, it would be so much better than now

For me the rear grip sometimes unpredictable when hitting some bumps on the asphalt, still a homework to do while waiting my partner to perfect it

The ideas initially are used from rfactor 2 car that I've used in the past (370Z GT4), it has dash number as car number, and also perfectly (and often) used when doing simracing broadcasting stream, especially when identifying drivers and teams while om cockpit view stream, so I think that would give some ideas to any race car driver to make too, especially if the race are broadcasted.

As for how it's lowres, because on the final export, probably LFSE compresses it way too hard, that makes it's pixelated and blurry, if you made your own skins based on that, with 2048x2048 resolutions, that would be fine so far, but maybe we need to think better placements of it, so it wouldnt be way far offside to be mapped

the engine swapped using 3S-GTE, tuned to 300bhp, with some diet on the car and suspension setup that fitting to rally courses, it still could drive hard, but dont exceed the point where the car would flip (I cannot judge if this are realistic, since actual car are quite tall, eventho the package of the car were tiny)
