That is what Scawen tries to achieve with these tire physics update. Otherwise it's building a skyscraper without a foundation.

Look at our money swindling American 'friends' with their Iracing production. It has nothing to do with simracing, just a bunch of crap put together for a lot of money. They even f*cked up their tire physics even more now. LFS ideology was and is different from the start, making a real carsim, not going for the big money.. Small development team and then yes you get these kind of delays.

Anyway if this foundation, tire physics is completed in a good way, you can think of adding more real life cars and tracks. You first don't go to high school and then to Kindergarten do you?

Its waiting until Scawen has something like, well.. This is not 100% perfect but it's acceptable.



Its not about the model itself you silly, it are the calculations behind it.


Good... That is what most kids want... A lot of content, maybe a little shooting also with it.. And no sim whatsoever... Thats good, keep the economy running. But it has nothing to do with simracing development.

Like Rotary i have been driving this sim since 2003 but surely after nine odd years its ok to become bored with the current content ?

How anyone can say LFS is failing I do not know. Unless you speak to the developers themselves you can't possibly know their aspirations and goals for the sim. Before burning me at the stake i know gt5 is too arcadish...Brain dead ai that follows a perfect line ignoring themselves and you and constantly playing bumper cars with them it really harms it a lot.Add the laughable damage(they toned down damage a lot to the point you need to crash multiple times at 150 miles to have even a fender dislodge itself...)
Add the incocistentment of 200 good looking cars with cockpits versus 800 without one and looking abysmal and the game really is messed up...


But in the end the good probably outweight the bad ones for me at least...

There i have all the cars i ever liked with interesting descriptions,some look actually out of this world with some great looking cockpits and a great usage of the ps3 camera's face recognition to move around the cockpit like having a track ir...

Then through most tracks are horrible some are mind blowing....Monako,le mans,norcheliefe,monza,madrid,rome,tokyo downtown look and feel incredible...

Great sound effects and music and some incredible weather effects too..

And you know something ? With a decent wheel and everything turned off (You have to turn off some aids twice as when you go in the race screen just before starting to race abs gets enabled to low(1) and sometimes even the traction control too..-i think i is done for the cars that actually have those aids...or maybe its a bug...)

So why i even bother with lfs ?

I have GT5 and its great fun but that is purely my own opinion and i have no desire to cram it down someones throat...

As for the rest, i think auon is spot on. If MW gets it done - kudos to him, but if he srews up like usual than it's just his own soup. The team is already CC so there certainly won't be any sad faces, regardsless of who wins the WDC.
I actually think everybody will be happy for MW, because it's probably his last chance. Vettel is most likely gonna be champion sooner or later anyways.

Fred's got the WDC , there is no way in hell Seb will aid Webber and i guess why should he when he still has a sniff at the title.

The Austrian love train won't allow team orders when there not for Seb , and if by some miracle MW takes the title there will be some sour faces at RBR thats for sure.

Anyways fingers crossed the miracle happens and Webbo gets the title as it will be good for Australian motorsport and we might get to keep the GP for a few more years.
