I found rF FF more precise but not realistic. But to compare you need tests and reliable data. I dont think ppl's comparisons would be so precise to differ Scirocco from Megane or Honda CRZ (both released since Scirocco release teaser :duck
I have no expectations on that - it is rather getting rid of observed errors in tyre modelling than feature that really can be felt (unlike S1 to S2 progress)
What I noticed (maybe wrong, it could be aerodrag :shy is that locked diff setups are usually faster on high speed sweepers (like AsNat twisted straights) where maximum power is needed with no loss due to weight balance. Prolly due to unproductive little slip ratio on inner tyre getting all the power left on engine.
And now you can comprehend how Scavier works - each one provides what he wants, can and makes. Eric does not make much so I wouldnt mind i.e Lynce to cooperate
Thx Scawen for the update I'm the one of doubting sometimes that LFS as I see your, side-project has in fact steady progress rate - so good to hear it is the opposite
I reckon you are concetrating on physics because thats what LFS is all (and online racing) about but anyway I propose to consider third party involvement. I know that is not a Scavier strategy, but there are things to really look at:
a mod (or just movie editing effect?) to look for wet physics: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLkLg9LSx3E
LyScavier was maybe not a good idea but Scavierly sounds ok...
an iirc in Poland:
x:> I dont like all that moaning on how football is out of date... those replays, chips in ball... it will just ruin the spirit of the game - which is: referee is a dickhead.
funny idea but needs propoer execution for photomode competition: some final touches - fit and ambient lighting on the pedestrian, and blur - he is walking not much quicker than the scenery, for sure not in the direction of the braking car.
