Was watching as the incident between #39 and #27 happend and I have to wonder what the theory behind it was.
#27 was being lapped and going considerably slower in a flat out peice of the track, (Appearing to be slowing) And not tight to the inside line which definetely says "I'm moving over and slowing to let you by".
EDIT : Lmao, oops I thought that DT was given for the blue flag misshap, oooops
Well if you'd waste 30 seconds of your life by reading the first god damn post then then check the next few informative posts you wouldn't have to look so stupid.
I bet he can't wait, moving to a slower more unreliable car.
Just kidding obviously, hopefully next season the red bull car can take another step forward as Vettel showed today he certainly has the talent to push the car to its limit.
Apart from the fact that no competition with these sort of prizes is ever going to be easy, there are also alot of further tests that come up after the LFS part of the championship is done.
You can be pretty sure that every single phase of this compeititon is going to be tough.
It's just people using button clutch (enables faster shifting) but they don't have to press any button for the clutch because the "macro" means that when they press their paddle to shift up it also engages the clutch. So they do everything the same as us normal auto clutching people, but they get far quicker shifts.
The only use I can think of having the manual clutch is bump starting the car, the other reason I thought of was holding the clutch in on the start line and putting the car into first gear, though you don't even need to have manual clutch on in order to do this.
As for the temperatures, I trust the one person who told me that it helps the clutch temperature as he is not as dumb as he seems, and yes he done his testing with it.
Using a macro causes teh clutch to heat up less than normal autoclutch, because the macro changes gear to much faster there is less slipping of the clutch during gear changes which just means less heat.
So with cars like the FZR i'm pretty sure with a macro you can flat shift all the time and have no heat problems, when with autoclutch you have to lift on gearchanges or your clutch will overheat.
On the topic of is it or isn't it cheating, it is, your taking an unfair advantage over your opponents. About two years ago I used the button clutch for XFG at blackwood because "everyone" done it, it gave less advantage back then and on every shift I would have to press the clutch at the right time, so it was faster when you done it properly but now when everyone is just setting up a macro it's just retarded. They are shifting in the same way as we are, nothing more nothing less, yet they are gaining up to half a second a lap....
People who use it are just weak and desperate, end of.
Well Lateralus, the first thing i'll say is you shouldn't be trying to argue with the people who are posting their opinions where you asked for it....
As for your massive incident, you hold the right to stick in the middle of the track like you did, but you shouldn't do it if your not prepared for contact because it is quite a dangerous form of defending. What happend though, there was a slight touch, you were both holding your lines but moving slightly towards each other which caused the first tiny touch, once your recovered that you started turning into the corner, but it was to early, which then caused you to spin off.
I really don't see where there is question here, you were turning in when there was a car on the inside of you, nothing else to add really?
