The chip would have to half the fuel consumption for it to be like the MG but generally tuning boxes can make your car even more fuel efficient because that extra power causes you to use less throttle while doing your day to day driving.
If you boot it around however i'm pretty sure you'll notice the MPG drop, but this applys to any car...

The golf was sold because I needed the money, living on your overdraft sucks, the next Corsa B was shit but it wasn't my car, was just a car our garage had up for sale, so I got that untill it sold, then I got the MG...
The only good thing about the MG was it's gutsy 1.4 and it's stiff suspension, yea it was good fun thrashing about the back roads but for the money it was costing me I didn't find it 'that' much fun. Next year the insurance wanted £950, the road tax is £82 and I think it's going up after April next year.
The MG wasn't that gutsy though, only when you booted it like any other car would you notice a differnce, but i'd still get 35-40mpg just driving about the doors.
The new corsa however, 650 next year to insure and £49 next year to tax and in 2 months I done about 2k miles in the MG (Had a couple of long journeys though) and the corsa would of been £80 less on fuel, so it's savings all round.
Ontop of that, the corsa has remote central locking, the MG didn't even have central locking (Or it was broken, I never bothered to find out) and i'm sick to death of having to reach over EVERY time I get in the car to open the passenger door. When it's raining all I would hear is "Hurry up hurry up my hairs gettin wet!"
Another confession, it's red, looks a bit girly Though, they have 70bhp as standard but can be remapped to gain about another 30bhp (Or by using those tuning boxes) so i'll be looking into that soon.

Well I think it would actually be more like +5 here or -5 there because we're never going to find the perfect ballast for each round, but we all know that like IGTC, the 20kg on the FZR is ok, but on some rounds it's just not even at all. So just by going by past experiences it should be easy to guess that 15-25kg (Or maybe 30 for South City) would be more than enough ballast needed to make it more even for each round.
Even if the weight could only be 15, 20 or 25, this is still going to help the XRR be more competitive and it really doesn't take any sort of brain power at all to work out what weight penalty will be used at what track. ie, Westhill 15kg, South City 25kg......
I seriously think this is the only solution to the balancing problem, especcially since a new patch is on the way I should think we're only going to be using this patch for 1 maybe 2 races. (I hope)

I don't see what differnce it will make, it's not as if you wont have time to practice for each event with the given ballast, regardless of whether you have 20 or 40 kgs of weight from 1 round to the next. What differnce does it make if the car is a little bit heavier, if you can't handle 5kg up or down then you shouldn't be driving in the series because in one stint, from 100% to 5% the FZR looses over 70kg.

Blackwood isn't a very well suited track to the GTR's, it's probarly the worst track for them, they're are pleanty of other exiting tracks that we could run, my first MoE race was at Aston GT, that track rocked, where did it go? 
I was under the impression that the amount of fluid needed to fly home was a rather large amount in comparison to how much fluid is in the alien "parts" therefor it took them 20 years to come up with this amount.

Yea i'm pretty sure it was that engine, stunning to look at especcially from your own eyes, things frickin huge too.
The most beautiful engine i've ever saw was a rolls royce engine out of a WWII fighter plane (I think it was a fighter) It was in a shop that fixes blown head gaskets and stuff, was other engines like sierra cosworths and stuff, all looked brand new.

Today I was driving to lochaline to pick up yon Alasdair MacCrone (Banister on LFS) because he's turning into a big boy and needed help to move into his new uni flat in Edinburgh.
Anyway, there's about 20 miles of road from lochaline which is single track and it's pretty hilly, coming down the hill I was just rolling down, boot full, rear seats full, just cruising along having a chat when.... I big lorry comes around the corner in the distance, so I start braking slowly for the passing place, not much happens, so I brake heavier, not much else happens, when eventually the brakes just die completely, hand brake had to be deployed to bring us to a safe stop. It's safe to say those shitty rover brakes arn't worth a swift kick in the balls when it comes to over heating easily.

I think with Kimi using the runoff area it's ok because had he lifted off which he no doubt would of had to do, he would of lost positions ontop of being another obstacle for people to get tangled up with.. :S
Anyway, well done to Kimi for the win but a massive well done to Fisi, was brilliant to watch! What happend in his pitstop though, they showed his wheel getting stuck or something, looked like he lost a few seconds but he was right back on the tail of Kimi a few laps later?
Big lol to DC aswell, when commenting on Kimi overtaking Heidfeld at the start "Like taking kid from a candy" Good one.

Yea, it wasn't so bad then but i've done about 60 miles since then, so i'm under the red zone now.
