I agree he was good but I hate these rules in contracts or whatever which says said person cannot drive certain cars, it means that Shumi drove less variety of cars and therefor had more practice in each car than others.
I was disapointed to see him go through, wanted to see the astra or the WRC's used for the final, the VW's were quite boring imo, the track was just too slippy for any sort of FWD car.
The audi was supreme, some nice driving from that guy too...
I thought Andy Priaulx was the best driver of the day, He was immensly fast in the Astra since I guess it was similar to his BMW, but what was more amazing was how he jumped straight into the Focus WRC and threw it around so confidently, beating Vettel who had just drove the WRC In the previous race.
Unlucky for him not to beat MSC in the buggy but he had been flying in that thing all day since his contract says he's not allowed to drive anything branded basicly, IMO it gives him more of an advantage since he only gets to drive 3 cars, when other people have the chance of 4 or 5.
Regardless, looking forward to watching it tommorow again, hopefully we see as much action as today.
Wow, I totally agree, imagine all those people getting affected by passive hearing and walking about all day totally stinking of the rotten sound those cars make.
I agree with Sinbad, although he got bumped a little wide at the start of the lap, it was hardly on purpose, but what he done in the last corner was blatantly not a mistake, he would never have made the corner without hitting into the back of the porsche.
Though, we need an onboard view of the porsche to see if he did spin him out, personally it looks to me like he does spin him out because when it looks like he cuts accross him like Sinbad says, it's probarly just because his rear was being pushed into the spin.
Anyhow, was good watching, I enjoyed the impreza v the corvette more though...
Try the digital speedo and see the differnce between the normal speedo and the digital one, on the focus I tried it on the normal speedo was reading 5mph more than the digital.
Awesome looking car flippy, just out of interest, do you know how to change the trip meter to read the rev counter, or the speedo? (Amongst other things)
I only found this out at the weekend on my mates 2002 focus, but it's worked on any other reasonably new car i've tried it on, just wondering if this isn't really well known or i'm just so far behind the times.
