My mum and dad have MSN, my mum doesn't use it though, but my dad does, considering we lived 120 miles apart for about 6 years, i'm f**king glad he had it.
I used to have Toyos and the level on grip with them is rather good.com, especcially in the rain. I had to have my rear tyres changed to another make and in the rain my 1.2 corsa would oversteer pretty much all the time.
I used to work with a guy who has a 205 2.0 turbo track car and he uses toyos on that too, so i'd say they were quite a good performance tyre.
Just a note on the turbo lag, these new VW TSI's have a supercharger and a turbo strapped onto them, supercharger kicks in while the turbo spools up, crazy....
The car is stunning on the road too, though i've allready been in the situation where i've had to brake rather heavily for one pulling out infront of me, clearly paying to much attention to the lovely dash board...
Yea, the "respect" people show me is only for how fast I turn the wheel, nothing to do with how fast I make the car go.
Ok, anyway, i'm really sorry to all those people who respect me and my pr0 friends, but I have something to get off my chest, yes I only use 270 degreese rotation. I'm so sorry, please don't hate me, please don't throw me out of this great community and please, give me a chance to change.
Ok, so seriously, just for arguments sake, In the profiler I use 271 degreese of roation (It wouldn't go to 270 :P ) 100 force feedback and 0 for the other two options. (Damping or something) In LFS I have it at 270 again and 1.00 wheel turn compensation and 20% force feedback. I used to use alot more force feedback but they start to die really quickly, I don't understand why the wheels are able to have such strong force feedback, yet they can overheat so easily.
Ovcourse it's faster, why would anyone bother to button clutch when it's slower than auto clutch?
If you use button clutch properly it can be as fast as a macro, and even if you are slow with the button clutching, it's still gunna be faster than autoclutch.
You must have some sort of mind reading shit going on, for all I can see, he's ONLY talking about Arechee's driving in LFS, nothing to do with real life.
Yea, what Pearcy says (He was actually right for once! )
I don't know how much of a differnce it makes in the road cars, when you compare Arechees FE3 lap to mine in the LX4 he uses the handbrake in the 2nd last turn and it looked awesome, much faster than mine. Though, my lap was quite bad, I went a bit to deep into the corner and that was that. What Arechee does is the same, goes in a bit to deep, carrying more speed but he nips the handbrake to bring the rear around and point the car in the right direction, and eliminate all understeer.
Back in the day, I used to use it in the FXR at south city town reversed, it didn't make the lap any faster but it sure looked good.
I think if theres any points to be prooven they should just take the HL rank WR's, most other WR's arn't anywhere near what they would be if they had any relevance.
To be honest for a relatively small car the figures arn't very appealing.
Group 10 insurance seems quite high aswell, the 1.6 golf Mk4 are only group 6, the 1.4 is only group 4 and they're pretty large cars.
I'd say if you were getting a BMW your aswell going for one of the bigger stronger engines if your going for something of this age. Though, i'm guessing you also like this BMW and it's not just a random car you've picked, but if it is theres pleanty of other cars that will cost you less in the long term (Especcially road tax...)
I didn't know the skin wasn't on LFSW, the WR would have been done with our MoE skin which would've been deleted in later rounds to make room for the next skins.
