Quote from rich uk :

Youth in revolt: Just watched it and it blew me away. Was stunning, well acted and the awkwardness was there throughout. Everything was good about this film!

Agreed! Watched it last night and found it very good, though I expected the girl to put more of a fight up before going with him, because he never had to change to get her, he had to change to get close to her, which isn't the way that the trailer makes it seem.

So what is "raw" exacty?

Btw Niall if you like your VW why don't you just go for a AUQ Mk4? With a remap and a few mods they hit 240bhp quite easily. Sounds like fun to me...

Nice, yea i've been on there for over a year or so, though only have abour 100 posts since I only just got another golf a couple of months ago.

Tidy car, shame they didn't do a V6 TDI though.

Mr General Lee, are you on UKMk4's? If not get on there and get your car advertised.

As for a starter car, if you like what the general lees looks like then you can get a 1.4 version of that, the insurance will also be cheap on them. (i was cheaper with a golf than a damn 1.2 8v corsa)

I'm quite confused though, if money is no object why are you worried about insurance?

Seat ibiza TDI, (come in 100 or 130bhp) both PD engines which are extremely tuneable (The 130 can hit 180bhp with just a remap) and they look rather cool.

The good thing about these new VW diesels is that they are pretty damn fast when you boot them, then you cruise along at 60mph and you hit at least 60mpg.

Quote from JPeace :I agree partially with Scipy here - Which is a first I must say.

But Scipy, you are saying that a new lease of life of GTR's would be much more benefiticial. Well im sorry but I dissagree. You are coming from a very small part of the sim community that race and enjoy high level enduranc leagues, and you are one of the very few on the sim that get to race at the top of LFS. The Scirocco will bring more attention to the sim, more players will come to the game because of the attraction of having a real life car in the game - plus that with the fact that a new, real life track is coming. It's about the business at the end of the day, and if LFS loses a few members because of the lack good GTR cars to drive in leagues then whats the harm in that if in return the Scirocco boosts LFS's popularity and more players end up buying S2 and make LFS more money? I think that the developers may or may not listen to you, but I am sure that you definatly are not talking to deaf ears.

I think you've kinda proved a point there, but one which backs up Scipys post, if over the 18 months or however long we've had, even if we had a completely fictional car and new track or two, this would have kept all of the current members in LFS. (Or at least kept a lot of the people on board who have given up on LFS)

Your right, at the end of the day it is a business, but surely it's more important to keep the current customers happy, than to just shut them out because something bigger and better is on the way. At the end of the day, the current customers aren't really going to benefit with more publicly, but they would benefit from some of the updates Scipy suggested. (Which would obviously play a hand in attracting more customers as well.)

Just my opinion, i'm glad we've had an update, though it's still not so clear what sort of timeline we will be on for some new content and what exactly the new content will be. :/

I saw an old Volvo T5 disappear into my mirror (The last one that was in BTCC) he was trying to keep up, shame it didn't like the twistys as much as the straights.

The ironic thing is he caught up with me when I caught up behind a Mustang, (http://static.howstuffworks.co ... tang-specifications-1.jpg) who was going rather slow.com

Quote from Rappa Z :Just wanted to throw in a small thought.

Every day you think about how we are one day further from the original release date when we are actually one day closer to the real one.

When I think about the release date is reminds me of the N64 game super mario world, you had to get x amount of stars to be able to fight against bounser, whos door was at the top of a set of stairs, if you ran up these stairs without x amount of stars the stairs were never ending.

(

If you look at the picture, sweeping from right to left it has a lot going for it, until.....a daihatsu...In the end all your doing is bringing down this girls credibility.

Though, even 100bhp out a little turd wagon like that is a lot, even the 130 with a turbo would be fun, so hats off to you for that.

Quote from BlueFlame :Bawbag, just admit and face the fact that you now can't own anything other than a VW without feeling something missing in your life. You hated the MG and you seem to hate this Focus. Admit you are a Volksy addict!

I honestly don't mind the focus, even though it's sold now and the GTI is mine, quite annoyed that i've just payed to get it painted and I wont even get a chance to drive it about.

The only thing i'm pissed at now is the damn MPG, 1.8 20v aint very nice on my wallet, so this one will be sold or traded in soon for a GT TDI, then i'll be happy...ish.

Quote from NickC :

I raced both cars, FWD and RWD. For sure FWD saves are more hard and against nature. So i have to agree with tristan on this one.

FWD is harder than RWD and also harder to recover, what the hell...?

Quote from Crashgate3 :Last month Prince Charles and Camilla visited Worcester and all the civic dignitaries were lined up at Worcester station ready for the Royal train to arrive, As the train wheezed and huffed to a standstill the door to the Royal carriage opened and out stepped HRH sporting a genuine fox fur hat, with the poor creature's tail hanging forlornly down his back.

The Mayor of Worcester and the Lord Lieutenant of the County stepped forward and the Lord Lieutenant whispered in Charlie's ear, "My God, your Highness, it's one of the hottest days of the year, and - I mean, I know your views about hunting - but it's hardly politically correct, wearing a fox fur hat, now is it?"

"What???" exclaimed Charles, "oh, this old thing," he indicated his hat, "Mummy's idea!"

"Mummy's idea?" said the Lord Lieutenant incredulously, "you mean Her Majesty the Queen's idea???"

"Oh yes," replied Charles, "you see, at breakfast she asked me what I was doing today, and I told her that I was coming to Worcester and she said 'Worcester? Wear the fox hat?'"

Quote from bbman :Eh? Since when does flooring it and letting the FWD pull the car out of the slide has anything to do with skill?

Agree'd, Take away there ability to use the throttle to correct those slides and i'm sure their skill will show then....

Not that Josh is more skillfull or anything, but getting such a big lump of a car like that so sideways and correcting it is still impressive, no matter how lucky.

My car until Saturday, the focus is getting painted this week so I get to borrow this, 1.8 GTi (Non turbo) 125bhp, not bad, nice to drive, loving being back in a decent car....

Hopefully going to buy this or a GT TDI as soon as I sell the focus, that's the plan anyway.

I've saw a new Skyline GT-R, ferrari's lambos etc, all cars I just about cream myself when I see, but what car do I like so much I get a picture of...?

Just waow, saw it earlier when picking up my GF's sister, was somewhere about 30 miles south of Edinburgh, not that it matters, but the car is fantastic and in (from what I could see) completely standard condition, the inside was just as immaculate as the outside.

Excuse the weird camera angle, no I'm not a wannabe photographer, it was either diagonal or the picture would of had a big dirty wing mirror in view.

Quote from Jakg :It depends who it is - all of my friends have been with their OH's for over 6 months... over a year in most cases.

I know I'm not a teen any more but my GF is and we've been together for about 18 months, one of my best mates is a teen and has been with his GF for the same amount of time.

There is always exceptions, just because you never know of any, doesn't mean they don't exist.
