It's actually Scipys pwn set, he's a whiny bitch when it comes to sharing his perfected (cough) setups, so I can't post it now, so i'll point him to this thread and see if he minds.
Just watched Donnie Darko again and I have to say I enjoyed it more that time than the first, I kept up with it more and read all the important things from the book....
I figured since i watched the nines and that they could both be compared to each other that I should watch it again and in truth I don't think the nines is anywhere near this film and urge anyone who hasn't saw it to give it a watch...or two.
Dan, I just watched "The Nines" and about half way through it I was at the stage of turning it off because it was such crap.
But, it went from nothing to everything in the last half hour especcially when all the peices fit toghether, not in the same league as Donnie Darko but definetely a hard thought out movie.
Seems like your thread asking for films to watch has changed so you are now telling us....thanks.
Donnie Darko is one kick ass film, I did have to do reading up on the internet to understand it properly, but definetely one of the best films i've saw, only saw it recently too.
Last night I wached "cleaner" with Samuel L Jackson, it wasn't the best film i've saw but it was worth the watch.
The new "21" was also good to watch aswell.
Recent films are lacking IMO, A few months ago I had the notion to download some old movies, Memento, Fight Club, American History X. All good films and I doubt you havn't seen them but just incase....
No Country for old men was a good film, the prestige is also a movie on Donnie Darkos scale.
Thats the race setup I used, I know it says qual and it was actually Hannus qualifying setup, it has more psi than any set i'd made and lower cambers, so it worked pretty nice for the race.
Yea good event, we got there int he end with the server problems too.
Quali was really nice for me, setting a nice pb even after having a collision with someone on their outlap....
Race 1, was pretty good, I had one of Hannus sets which I thought was for the race, but it was his quali set.... Worked ok never the less.
Race 2 I made some changes to the set and it felt good for the whole half a lap I had before having some lag crash. I got quite lucky at the start, managing to get about half way up the grid, saw some accident in the 2nd last corner so went for the inside and got bumped off. I wouldn't of minded the bump off as all the traffic meant I caught everyone pretty soon anyway, but the positive camber on the rear was just a joke, was like driving on ice, no real fun from then on.
Thanks for the races though and I actually liked the reverse grid, even if it braught in some accidents.
Heh, I'm going to laugh when Jonesy replies to your "re-evaluation" suggestion, infact i'm laughing allready, your judgeing every single person as if they were you.
It's one thing to grow up and have all this shit handed to you on a plate, but when your giving it all the "If i can do it, you can" your just being COMpletELY St00PID. Your kinda like the 17 year old kid who rolls up at school in a brand new BMW and wonders why everyone else is getting the bus.
So you drive, setup and do all the mechanical work on your kart?
Getting into ANY motorsport nowadays takes much more than money, it needs a dedicated team of people and not all of us are fortunate enough to have these people at our disposal.
