The tail light looks ****ed up with the chips out of it.

For the scratches, get white T-Cut and that will get rid of all your marks except from the scratch that has went deep into the bumper, though it will make it look a lot less noticeable.

I had a scratch like that on my front bumper, T-cut disguised it quite well considering what it was when it happend, but luckilly my mate is a painter so he fixed it a bit cheaper than normal...

When I said changing, that includes putting it back on. It's a 04 or something, newer shape, no idea whether they're generally easy or not but it was a pickup so it is rwd but this one was a bitch to go back on, especcially since the ramps were all being used and it was all done with jacks and axle stands...

Yea but the video is just showing that Hamilton has done it to other people aswell, afterall just because he never done it in this race, doesn't make him a saint.

I wanted to see Hamilton put on a show though, quite annoyed that he got taken out so early but it was merely unfortunate, his squeezing tactics are obviously a bit rusty....

Can you post a pic XCNuse? Sorry if you allready did, I did a quick search but couldn't find any of your damage.

At our garage we have a painter so I could ask him about it tommorow, though I wouldn't luse the 'uber hairdryer' on anything with paint tho, inside or out if it's enough to bend the plastic, it will most likely kill your paint too.

On a note, I frickin hate changing gearboxes/clutches, was doing one on a transit van today (Well helping) and it was such a pain in the ass, I think it's the one thing i'd pay someone else to do for me.

<hides>

In my defence, it's my mother's and I use it only to go to school, because I don't want others to scratch my new Fiesta in the carpark xD

I drove my mums red one today aswell, they are pretty nippy little f***ers!

Quote from dekojester :Not when I was running it, before I got usurped.

When it first started up, the rules page was pretty much exactly the same as the FSR rules, just with some small changes in wording, if that's not copying FSR then I dunno what would be.

oneGP was just a copy of FSR anyway.

Quote from amp88 :Just watching the BBC F1 forum thing after the race. It's quite funny to see DC trying to keep up his blatant fanboy-ism for Red Bull.

Yea, when he was talking about Marks penalty being crap, that Rubens had room on the left to react, that's utter bullshit, I think Mark said in the briefing that he thought Rubens was on his left which is why he moved to the inside, though I wouldn't quote me on that.

Was funny in the pre show to see him and MSC talk about the "incident" at Spa though...

With Webbers drive through they should have won it easily, the pitstops should really have been planned better because everytime he came out he was stuck behind some mofo, things that the strategy guys should have known about and taken into consideration.

Well done to Mark regardless, he drove an awesome race, I too wish that the contact with him and Lewis didn't happen, just to see the step forward that McLaren have made, but I doubt he would have been able to keep the pace of the top guys.

Ps. **** Kimi, poor Adrian.

According to this forum the you need a couple of adaptors and your monitor has to be HDCP compliant if these adaptors are to work...

Ok, so a shock Saturday night in caused some boredom, I wanted to watch a decent movie but didn't trust the ones I havn't seen yet so I opted to watch Donnie Darko for the 3rd time....

Wtf is with that movie, The first time I watched it, I was like hmm that was pretty good, the second time I thought it was epic, the third and it's got better again, I seriously don't think there's a film better than it.

So if you havn't seen it, go watch it three times, if you have seen it, watch it again, coz you'll still laugh at the gym teachers anus.

This all came on because I watched the second one, Samantha Darko, it's out on DVD allready and as expected it's nowhere near the standard of Donnie, but it's still worth the watch. Instantly I recognised Samantha in the sequel and it turns out that Samantha in part 1 as a little girl is the same actress.

Was that the leader who took that guy out at the end of the straight? If it was, shame on you! Quite a blatant incident tbh..

We were very sceptical of this league to begin with, especcially since the whole setup and the rules were all just the same as the rFactor FSR league, with some changes in wording...

A decent BF1 league would be nice though, especcially without TC...

I think over here it's a 10% over (or under) for being caught speeding, but it's also down to the officers discretion.

So dustin, if you were doing 80mph and someone was coming up behind you, you would on purposely try and slow them down because they're going faster than you? Who cares if someone else is going over the limit, at the end of the day it's their licence, they are running the risk of being caught, regardless of whether you slow them down or not, as soon as your out of their way they will go back up to their speed anyway.

About sitting in the middle lane, f**k that, if anything happens and your in the center of an accident, you can get hit by cars at either side.

My car is now non existent, sold it on Wednesday, student life caused me to lose my baby.

Though, i'm driving a 1.0 12v corsa B and I just hate it, well hate the underpowered unresponsive piece of crap under the bonnet. On the plus side it's that cool corsa blue, on the downside some ricer had it previously, had a full bodykit but since the rear was smashed it only has front and side bodykit. It had lexus rear lights, they are now sorted. If I feel like humiliating myself anytime soon then I will for sure get some pics of it, but just remember, it's only a run around car until I find another one.

Buying cars sucks nowadays, 2003 seat ibiza 1.2 12v costs £68.50 p/6 months to tax, seat ibiza 2002 1.9 TDI 130 costs £66.00, insurance on the 1.2 is only £200 cheaper aswell....

So yea, on Monday I might be buying the TDI 130, it's 2002 but the newer shape, 112k miles so hopefully the price isn't too high.

FYI I don't know why I wrote up my life story in here, probarly because the posting and discussion of cars has been overtaken by pointless childish bickering, there's a LFS IRC channel right?...

Quote from sam93 :.

I like in Jakg's post where it says if the car is modified, it isn't the parents. The thing is, I know parents who have modified cars, so that's just bollocks in my opinion, just because it's modified, doesn't mean a young driver, drives it.

Well I say bollocks to that, there's modified then there's 17 year old corsa modified.

Those parents you talk of, I bet they arn't driving little turd heaps that arn't even worth £1000, thus the mods they do actually make a differnce.

Yea, they wont find out if you don't have an accident, but if in the case you are in an accident and someone is quite badly injured or something of high value is damaged, then the insurance are for sure going to investigate.

The best thing for you is just to get your own policy and add your parents as named drivers, this wont bring it down by much, but it will save you £100 or so, depending on their no claims.
