That new tyre cluster on the left definitely has something to do with tyre temperature. When it hits dark red, the tyres smoke. And it takes it a few seconds to cool back down to a light blue. Dark blue is for cold tyres. White means the tyre is loaded and heating up.

At least we know GT5's physics models each wheel individually. In Prologue it felt more like front/back only

Also looking at the HUD in the X1 vid, it looks like Vettel was playing with an old build of the game

When he breaks traction at 0:58, and smokes the rear tyres, the outter right tyre goes red on the display. While the front right and rear left go white, the front left remains blue

Don't think there will be any rubber banding with AI and Pro mode. People freaked out in Prologue and they removed it

I think the intro video was originally done to a different song for the Japanese version, but EU and NA Sony like to fiddle and change it for other markets... it just doesn't seem to sync well with the song... New HUD additions, with tyre temp/wear and damage I guess. At the end when he brakes hard the colour of the front tyres changes to red, so maybe a grip indicator like Enthusia.

Don't worry GT5 will be different from past GTs, Kaz said he realises gamers don't spend as much as time as they used to on any one single game anymore, so you should be able to get a whole bunch of stuff a lot quicker.

Me I never had more than 50-60 cars in GT4 out of the 700 or so
So it's good they included all of them in GT5

Improved sound (especially downshifts), AI and smoke (lasts longer now). Sounds way better than the iRacing version....
