Any Aussie who haven't preordered yet might want to take a look at this
EU Collectors Edition + 3 Stealth cars (787B, NSX Gt500, Mclaren F1) + GT Keyring and $15 off
It depends on your level in the game. This race looked ok to me, with standard cars on Daytona road course, and Chris is a real life racer
Still fairly early in the game. American version of the Holden Monaro spotted at 0:48 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4FmSPDvV48
More feedback from an iRacer - I'll see in a days time, as I still have 2 months of iRacing left to compare. Well I still don't like iRacing's current tyre model
On the direct feed stream there was a track creation on the Mount Aso theme track and it looks sweet! Big elevation changes can be had on it. And tight corners with max complexity. Excellent for drifting
Note there are only 4 sections here, and how complex the turns are
On the stream, the Mount Aso theme even with track width at maximum, is still fairly narrow and the turns still quite sharp

I watched one B-Spec race on a live stream and it's pretty cool, and different from GT4
There seems to be a cool down period for every command change. The driver does clean overtakes now if you hit the overtake button, but the faster you get him to drive and overtake, the more his temperament turns to the hot side, so he starts to become more mistake prone. Physical strength meter also decays faster. And vice versa, command him to drive slow and he remains cool and calm.
When the driver had low strength he got a lot slower and the other cars started to catch up and overtake him
Also the lower level B-Spec races are much longer than the low level A-Spec races, 6 laps vs 2-3 etc
I can hear the engine stop, he's already in neutral before this happened. My guess is he let the clutch in. And then the starter motor can be heard and the engine kick back into life.
BTW I think this guy actually races in real life in VLN
From the guy above
AI looks fine - as long as you don't gimp them by using super grippy tyres and set a low level like some people do http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvrSPJxuck4
The transitions maybe quick due to pad useage, quick full lock etc. Wheel should be different. Can't you tell? The front wheel jitters around and returns to neutral really quickly.
