Only 1 caution for fake debis on the backstrech at the 100 mile mark. Just past the 200/400 mile mark. Kahan and Johnson have been battling most of the day, but not must to speak of so far.

It would largely depend on which track(s) you'd use for this league. I honestly don't see teammates slowing down to draft with one another. You'd be best off to just do as well as you can without your team's help.

It's not a bad idea though. Maybe you'd be better off to make the XRT start the race, then when he crosses the line with 1 lap to go he spectates and his teammate leaves pit lane in an FXO. Then, once he takes 1 to go another teammate leaves pit lane in an RB4 and finishes the whole distance of the race. .

I don't think this is what you were looking for, but it might work.

Quote from PMD9409 :Some more from Denny: https://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=475545152494949

Thanks for sharing that PMD . Sadly we have no idea how testing went today because the drivers are afraid to speak, and we won't have any idea how the car will act until race day on Sunday.

Jeff Burton may be the only driver even talking about this situation: http://aol.sportingnews.com/na ... IQqmRCSUiqYbtHcRxlG7BAQAA

Also, a Conn. Senator wants NASCAR to reject the NRA's race sponsorship because it is disrespectful to those effected by Sandy Hook.

http://aol.sportingnews.com/na ... letter-newtown-sandy-hook

I swear sometimes that I wish I didn't live here. I'm pretty sure that the NRA had nothing to do with the tragedy, and NASCAR and the NRA are free to do as they please despite this unfortunate incident. I guess it serves NASCAR right after they did that to Hamlin

I'd like to think he's being careful about people turning against him. If it was that way (like I wish it was) he'd probably not have any support

Quote from Rappa Z :If Rand Paul is using a group though, he ought to go for the group record...

57 days.

Yeah, I don't think that'll happen.. At least it's at the beginning of the session if it does though

Knowing that Obama is having dinner with 12 Senate Republicans tonight I'd be surprized if it lasted any more than 24 hours.

I'd like to see him take the record length from Strom Thurmond though, just simply because Rand has a better cause than what he did

About time somebody stood up to this

Rand Paul stood up at around 11AM EST and continues to this time. I beleive he's in his 7th hour now . I beleive that he has others supporting him on the Senate from each party (but I've only seen that mentioned on one source)

Edit: I have confirmed that he has support from other Senators. Only 1 of which is a Democrat.

Quote from Rappa Z :Cornys, you're up to third.

I'm second.

Nice My GF is in 17th (She's a JJ fan ) and my mom is in 6th

Fueled By Pizza is 9th, LLM is 13th, Mike Busch Racing is 18th, Falcon is in 23rd along with the Soviet Russians

Did I miss any of us? I know who a few of the others are, but that's not important to you guys

We're all chasing howlingwolf1 though with 77 points and the Phoenix win. Rappa, you have 72 (-5) I have 66 (-11).. and back to 23rd it's only down to 46 points (-31 points).

I got 3rd and 21st in the first two races respectivly. That means I should have 40 at Daytona and 22 at Phoenix for a total of 62. 1st and 34th should give you 47 and 9 for a total of 56 . The league ponts standings havn't been updated yet so it's just going off of race #1 right now.

Article on the Gen-6 car: http://www.nascar.com/en_us/ne ... earn-about-gen-6-car.html

TV Ratings for Phoenix were up 6% and was the highest for a post 500 race since 2008. Not impressive, but anything not a loss is an improvement. I thought that the race was above average and much better than the 2012 fall race there (the first on this new surface and configuration)

There are 44 entries for Las Vegas. There was only 1 start and park last week by my count also

After only 1 downforce race what are you guys's feelings about the Gen-6 car?

I thought that today's race was pretty good myself

Yeah, F24 doesn't allow race director to work properly because it goes off of the .pth file for Fern Bay. Thanks for the feedback

Those of you who watched the stream, what did you think of the manual cameras? I know the running order appearing like in the Race Director was a big loss, but visually how was the stream?

Kid, you didn't do bad for your first attempt . I was impressed.

Thanks Jonathon for running the Camera

Maybe a little bit of exageration, but I could see it on the downforce tracks. There's better camera positions anyways I think.. like on the middle dash of the car

Danica rolls of the grid in 40th in the first downforce track race of the 2013 season

Every time I watch Mark qualify on a downforce track I just light up. He goes so much slower than his fellow competitors entering the corners, but as soon as he reaches the 2/3 mark of the corner the tracker slides straight to the left (the front). It just makes me think that the other drivers just aren't as smart as the old guy . He's much better in cars with less power though. Look at his record in the Nationwide series. (49 wins (2nd most all time) in 236 races with 112 top 5's and 152 top 10's)

Or the truck series: 7 wins in 25 races with 20 top 10's and 23 running at finish & lead lap finishes

This marks his 55th carrer pole in 855 starts (40 victories, 271 top 5's, 449 top 10's, 541 Lead Lap finishes (Most of any driver) , & Running at finish in 736)

These numbers aren't as impressive as Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon, but you have to remember that it was much more difficult to finish on the lead lap in the 80's and 90's than what it is now. That, and Mark didn't start his career in the best equipment by any means.

Oh, and how could I forget his International Race of Champions record of 5 championships with an average race finish of 3.8 . He won 13 of the 47 IROC races that he entered (usually 12 drivers). These races were in supposedly equal cars, and it was a really exicitng series with World of Outlaws, NHRA, IndyCar and Champ Car drivers racing along with Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Truck Series drivers selected based upon their performance

Taking a look at Mark Martin's carrer in the Daytona 500 I found this interesting

(0 Fall Race Wins)

1982 - 30th | 1983 - 28th | 1986 - 37th | 1988 - 41st | 1989 - 33rd | 1990 - 21st | 1991 - 21st | 1992 - 29th | 1993 - 6th | 1994 - 13th | 1995 - 3rd | 1996 - 4th | 1997 - 7th | 1998 - 38th | 1999 - 31st | 2000 - 4th | 2001 - 33rd | 2002 - 6th | 2003 - 5th | 2004 - 43rd | 2005 - 6th |2006 - 12th | 2007 - 2nd | 2008 - 31st | 2009 - 16th | 2010 - 12th | 2011 - 10th | 2012 - 10th | 2013 - 3rd

Now looking at Tony Stewart (2, 400 mile summer race wins)

1999 - 28th | 2000 - 17th | 2001 - 36th | 2002 - 43rd | 2003 - 7th | 2004 - 2nd | 2005 - 7th |2006 - 5th | 2007 - 43rd | 2008 - 3rd | 2009 - 8th | 2010 - 22nd | 2011 - 13th | 2012 - 16th | 2013 - 41st

I feel more for Mark than I do Tony (not a big fan of Tony), but seeing either win would be nice Mark may not ever race in the 500 again though. :/

Well, taking it out automatically I don't like. If the waiter or waitress doesn't deserve it I'd like to have the option to give less or given none rather than 15% no matter what

When we went to the race in Dover we stayed on the beach and there was a Pizza Hut. We waited forver to be served, and then we waited 30 min to have our order taken after we were taken to our seat. We didn't give a tip that day. If it was automatically taken out we would have been ticked...

That's the only reason why I don't like it being taken out automatically. Otherwise it wouldn't be an issue.
