Very interesting. Far from proof of alien life currently, but with more testing it could be definitive. Think that if this is varified there could be life forms living in places forerly not concidered hospitable.
Racking in ~50% annual interest on large retail "rentals".
Back on topic though, I think it's a little bit of an overreaction on NAPA's part. On the other hand, it does look bad for the company. It's a tough place to be in.
Edit (after reading a previous page's comment): MWR's actions were a good bit different than attempting to get something past officials as far as the car. That's a simple fact of racing, and it always will be. MWR completely changed not only the outcome of a race in an unfair way, it also manipulated the result of a whole season's work for multiple teams had it been allowed. Sadly, what MWR did was on a whole different level than anything else that I can recall happening in NASCAR before. It's worse than crashing somebody under a yellow flag
I don't really know if the Nationwide Series is a good place for up-and-comers any more the way that it used to be. In reality the truck series is the place where driver can learn all of the same things as in Nationwide, but still have a chance to fight for wins and learn how to race equal competitors.
In the Nationwide Series (not to be the Nationwide Series in 2015 by the way) you have Cup guys dominating most of the races (mostly Kyle). Also, it seems like the drivers keep their cards closer to their chest if you will today than what they did in the past. Martin, Earhardt, Gordon and company were very open with the rookie drivers (it seemed). Today, Kyle, Brad, Edwards, and company I don't feel share much of anything with rookies, even in the Nationwide Series.
I'd say based upon this and other things that the Nationwide experiance is over rated. Not to say it isn't a big help, but it's not what what it used to be.
As I said, the fan pressure on that young man (Austin Dillon) next year is going to be large. If he performs like Danica or Stenhouse in their rookie years in that three car I can see a lot of people not being happy. Not that I would be among those people, but you know it would happen. "How dare he run the three!" "He can't even drive!"
The more I think about it the more I realize that Pensky and JGR both made out on the Kenseth, Logono moves. Roush actually seems as though he gained something as well in Ricky Stenhouse Jr. He impressed me with his run Sunday afternoon and night . This hasn't always been true, but this is his rookie season.
Thanks everybody who came out today. What did you guys think of the shortened race durations based on attendance? Does anything need adjusted moving forward?
This question still remains. What would the Live For Speed community like to see out of Worldwide Racing? What do we need to do in order to bring you, the driver, into one of our events? Should we shut our doors and allow other event organizations to take our place because they have better, more exciting ideas and a higher quality administration team? These are questions that I am unable to answer, and would like to have an answer to them.
The votes have been overwhelming; we've been doing something wrong. I would like to know what that is. One event didn't even have a single registration .
I'm looking into shortening up the season to about 4 races due to an attendance worry and I'm also probably going to move the series to Saturdays this year as I hope to make the series more accessible to everybody.
